UPDATE: the owner sent me some asinine message that was a comical way to start my morning here lol. I will most definitely NOT return and let everyone I know to not use her services ! The groomer was very nice to my puppy during his first mobile grooming appointment but she forgot to cut most of his nails, gave him a choppy hair cut & cut WAY too much off his beard. Did NOT brush his teeth and I doubt any of the other services I paid for were done either. Not to mention how expensive the service is... $150 for shaving a dog is not a feasible cost.. read more

I would give Zero stars if possible on this review. We went through Muddy Mutts because we didn't want to leave our puppy for 4 hours at an inside groomer. We set up the appointment which was 2 weeks out because they where short handed. We where told that they would show up between 2pm and 2:30pm. I received a phone call at 1:40 pm from a lady stating "I'm in your front yard" really nasty like they had been sitting there waiting for a long time. We proceeded to go out side and the groomer was a lady with long black braided dreadlocks. My wife says hello and the lady didn't even respond. My wife went to hand her the shot records as every other groomer we had called was requesting the shot records. The lady proceeded to say "I don't need that, most people who use us take care of their dogs" this was strike 2 already she was so rude and disrespectful. Then she started asking us what style we wanted but instead of addressing my wife she kept looking towards me and trying to talk to me again so disrespectful towards my wife. I looked to my wife and my wife stated she's not sure. We have never had our dogs professionally groomed before since he was a new puppy so we had no idea and instead of giving us options she just kept saying do you have a picture because she needed to know what we wanted. My wife again stated that we are not sure. My wife said she wanted the puppy's face hair trimmed to see his eyes and the lady immediately snapped back "I am trimming his face what cut do you want. My wife again stated she wasn't sure maybe just take an inch off. The lady again snaps back "I'm not a hair stylist I don't cut in inches" She then takes the puppy grabs a shaver and starts cutting his fur asking me and not my wife this short or shorter? Again disrespectful to address me and not my wife even after my wife had stated he was her dog strike 3,4, and 5. If she hadn't already started shaving our puppy we would have just told her to leave. Then the lady asked if we wanted teeth and anal glands done. When we asked what that was because again we have never had the puppy professionally groomed before. The lady signs, like it was an inconvenience to her to explain what it was. My wife opted to have it done because it will be good for the puppy. At this point I went back inside because she continued to disrespect my wife by only addressing me. The lady then asks my wife what style she wanted and my wife tells her I guess a teddy bear cut and the lady says "ok" sarcastically. Before leaving the puppy my wife asks how long it will it take and the lady doesn't even look at her and says "it will take as long as it takes" and shuts the door. During a pandemic you would think they would be happy to have customers and with everything starting to open up it would be important to build your clientele as most people will start to go out to groomers. We will never ever use this company ever again. It took about an hour to complete his hair style. Even though the lady was so rude and so disrespectful I hate to say it but his cut is amazing. We will still never use this company again but at least our puppy is happy healthy and has an amazing look. read more

I had my first experience with Muddy Mutts today and it was excellent! I have a cavashon (Rhiley) and a mini labradoodle (Dallas) both were 6 weeks out from their last grooming visit and the labradoodle has very difficult fur to manage because he's not a "true" labradoodle. Sabrina was friendly, professional and extremely gentle with both of my fur babies. I showed her pictures of their typical cuts and she exceeded expectations. I will definitely be a repeat customer moving forward. I am disabled and having a mobile groomer is such a plus. Not worth the cost. Overpriced for the quality you get. My dogs eyelashes were cut after asking multiple times that she stay away from my dogs eyebrows because I didn't trust her after the uneven cut my male was given. In hindsight wish I hadn't let her do my female at all. My males had razor burn and his coat is longer on the left side and when asked if she could even it out was told that it was uneven due to the last groomer which seemed like a defensive cop out considering she had just been hired to fix the last groom. She also just cut my dogs knots which left her with a few random bald spots around her face. Very disappointed. Save yourself the trouble. read more

I LOVE MUDDY MUTTS!!! I agree with the other reviewer when they wrote "Mobile grooming is the way to go!" They couldn't make life any easy. They come to the door-I'm still in my p.j's- they take our dog and prob less than an hour they bring my new doggie back to me, who now looks and smells like a million bucks. They are extremely talented at grooming!!! It really is an art form to them. I barely have to describe what I want and they give him back looking better than I ever dreamed. Sheryl arrived at my home promptly and asked specific questions about how I wanted my dog groomed. It took her less than an hour and the haircut was perfect! In the past I've taken my dog to a groomer at the vet and after a 7am drop off and 5 pm pick up my pet was distressed and on several occasions was not groomed properly. From scheduling the appointment to the payment (She took a credit card at the door) it made the whole grooming process easy for both me and my unruly dog...completely worth the extra couple of dollars!! Both my mutts needed baths. The smaller one becomes anxious in new situations, the larger one doesn't like water or having her feet touched.
