The last time I came in 2018, she came home with irritated private parts because they either used something harsh or they clipped too close to the skin. They offered to give her a plastic cone so she could heal, but it was still an unpleasant experience, so for the most of 2019 I took her to different groomers by my work in Markham. Before the holidays I was on vacation and forgot to book her in for a groom so I came here because I got a last minute appointment. I asked SPECIFICALLY to keep her face round (Asian style) with a pom pom tail. To my surprise, when I picked her up, her face was triangle shaped, head flat and uneven and tail raggedy. They've also raised their prices by quite a bit the past couple years. My cuts used to be about $80 and now they are well over $100 and this is for a small 6 lb. toy poodle. After I voiced my concerns, I got a call saying the person who did the groom was the OWNER of the business. She also hinted at the fact that some dogs are more difficult... hard to believe since my dog was specifically called a "sweetheart" the day I picked her up. Their remedy is that I bring her back to "touch it up". But she has little hair left to work with at the top. If you love your babies, you wouldn't take them here.There's plenty of other reputable groomers who give great cuts and charge less. I regret hastily making the decision to come back after the first incident, but lesson learned.

While the staff working the front desk have always been kind, the groomer has admittedly never been the nicest. Nevertheless, they've been trimming Mojo's nails with the occasional teeth clean. Today I went in - Mojo was brought to the back and about 5 minutes in the woman working the cash area said "I'm going to get you to tap your card - the groomer wasn't able to get all of his nails today. I think he's nervous." I didn't think too much of it, although I was somewhat bummed that it didn't work out. A moment later I heard my dog crying and barking, while the groomer yelled "he is OUT OF CONTROL - I CANT DEAL WITH THIS DOG." I started to panic so I walked over to the dividing door between the storefront and grooming area, and asked what was going on. The groomer responded "YOUR DOG IS OUT OF CONTROL - HE NEEDS TO GO" and at this point the woman working the front of the store peaked over and noticed my dog was bleeding. She yelled back to the groomer and said "hey he's bleeding a lot" and the groomer responded "that's no surprise to me! He wouldn't stop moving." I had to stand there and reassure my dog so he could come out calmly, and that's when I noticed how much he was bleeding out of his two back paws. I grabbed my dog, walked him out in complete shock and as soon as we got outside and back onto the side walk, I watched my poor dog stand in pools of blood. I was completely hysterical - called my husband and sat with my dog in the park across the street trying cleaning his paws with paper towel. My husband - who arrived not even 10 minutes after this had happened - walked back to the store and it was closed (it was 3PM - the store doesn't close until 6.) He knocked on the door, called, and waited for a while, but eventually gave up. We've taken our dog to multiple groomers across Canada and this has never, ever happened. We will absolutely not be returning here - and given the other reviews I've read about knicks, cuts and negligent care, I don't recommend other pet owners do either.

Every time we picked up our dog he seemed a bit more anxious than the time before, they suggested we give him more anxiety medication. The price of a groom is crazy, over $250 for a small 30lb dog. The turning point for us is that our dog was having an off day and was a bit more anxious than usual - never mean or aggressive, just squirmy. They called us after an hour to let us know, but told us they'd keep trying. Two hours later he was ready for pickup - I assumed that 3+ hours at the groomer meant they got through it. When I picked him up they told me they did not cut any of his hair, only a nail trim and bath. To my surprise, they proceeded to charge me the full amount of a groom - a $250 bath and nail trim. Very dissapointed given we were longstanding customers and they knew he was having an off day. We will certainly not be back. **UPDATE** We took our dog to another groomer who let us know that there are clear signs of trauma from previous grooming experience. He was clearly pushed past his comfort level at Dogfather to a point where he has developed a traumatic fear of being at the groomers. This explains why he was more and more anxious to go each time. This is deeply upsetting and I only wish we changed groomers sooner.

Today we took my mum's dog bebe (a 4 pound chiuahua) to get her nails trimmed Timmie Doggie Outfitters. When my mum went to pass bebe to the STORE OWNER (who said he would take her) he quickly removed his hands and allowed a 4 pound little dog fall, at least 4 feet. She landed on her side and rolled onto her back. Thank God she doesn't seem injured - however this man, a shop owner in downtown Toronto then had the nerve to say she was showing him her teeth. Bebe is a sweet dog with no agression whatsover. We didn't get so much as an im sorry. He showed no remorse, and behaved as if nothing had happened after being confronted by my mum and myself. Is this the way we expect our beloved pets to be treated by a "professional" who owns a business where he cares for our beloved fur babies. This needs to be posted and people need to know what kind of man they are trusting their furry family members.

I had dropped off an itchy and smelling-like-dead-fish, shaggy ragamuffin of a dog at whom park snobs would point and snicker, "what kinda --doodle's THAT?" That's why I didn't recognize Tallulah when she emerged from Camille's salon so brushed up and out, her Afro puff bouncing with her every prance, that on the way home a dog-walker ran up to me and gushed, "what a gorgeous Portuguese Water Dog! She's obviously a show dog." This morning, when I chaperoned Tallulah on her "promenade through the park", I felt like I should have dressed up, with a top hat--and maybe a monocle--but definitely a walking stick with a huge gem on its handle.' Who needs that? It's a hassle and I hold Camille completely responsible for sculpting Tallulah into this attention-demanding diva. Her new stans would be mortified to discover Tallulah's nothing but a dolled-up bernedoodle with heady airs and a shiny coat. All that aside, Camille is a talented groomer who always makes Tallulah look and smell wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone, although not to everyone because it's already hard enough to get an appointment with her.

Both times, they claimed my dog pooped and peed while being bathed which is a surprise. My dog is used to baths so the only reason for her behaviour would be, she was badly treated which made her scared. My other suspicion is that this place lies about it so they can charge extra $20 for the clean up. When you do not give them a tip, rightly so, for the poor treatment of my pet, they complain. Never again, we will be using this facility and you should avoid it as well!

The groomers did a great job and were very nice to both me and my pup. The only downside is that it took much longer (3.5hrs) than at a place I used to go to before where they only take one animal at a time (1.5hrs). The price is quite reasonable for this area (around $80 for a Yorkie). I'll hope to be back in a couple of months
