I have had a great experience so far with this dermatology office. It has a beautiful plant wall when you walk in and receptionists are polite. Although I've never met him, I think it's cool that Dr. Mudgil has an Instagram (@dr_mudgil) where he posts a lot of interesting things about dermatology and just life in general. Some of his posts are very inspiration I've been seeing the PA Nick who is very personable and friendly. I am getting treated for my acne and the treatment has been working wonderfully. I have been so happy with how my skin looks since starting on this medication. I just really like the overall feel of the office, it's more modern and less doctors-office-esque. And the staff is so nice, they make you feel very comfortable. I'm so glad this place is close to my house. read more

It's actually laughable how much this particular office overcharges by. $150 post insurance cost for a 10-minute consulation? Also, the procedure prices they quote are x5-x10 times more than what dermatologists with similar credentials charge. Even my NYC dermatologist who is a plastic surgeon, charges half than this sham of a business. Also, please don't have 4 assistants in the same room during a patient's appointment? I am not a guinea pig for their learning. They are using classic marketing techniques of being on Yelp/Instagram/Facebook to get x5-x10 times out of you for standard procedures that require minimal skill at best. Don't believe me? call other offices and find out for yourself. Don't fall for the positive reviews like I did, he is a good doctor for sure but not good enough for x10 times the price! read more

Dr. Mudgil is very professional and patient. I first came in because one of my toes had very bad infection I couldn't walk properly, he was able to treat it and the Infection was gone within a week. He also treated the wart on my finger and eliminated my dandruff. I had been undergoing brown spot removal treatment in his office, I had very stubborn brown spots, Dr. Mudgil was very patient with my spots and he was able to remove them all even if some of those spots took him a few more sessions to clear. Overall I'm satisfied with the service they provided and Dr. Mudgil is very knowledgeable and professional. read more

Very bad experience. Dr missed Basel cell and froze wrong area. Went back and got charged another copay!!! Office staff could not get my credit card through, advised card was denied yet Amex never even saw the payment attempt. Needed my records sent to mohs surgeon and that took two calls from me and several from my new doctors office, yikes. read more

I'm not impress on this clinic and dermatologist because I'm seeking for a wart removal on my face and Dr. Mudgil started the procedure without any anesthesia at all. This is not my first time doing a face wart removal so I'm wondering why he Didn't use any pain relief while doing the procedure. read more

Went to this office yesterday and I was so impressed. Outstanding overall experience. With a multitude of health issues that effect my skin I was in search of a reliable and trusted dermatologist and I found one!!!! His office is gorgeous and more importantly it is run professionally and efficiently. Dr. Mudgill is fantastic, he was able to honestly and accurately address my concerns. I had been using the same treatments and typical standard prescribed meds year after year with minimal results.... he prescribed a new medication that has already helped. Been going to Doc Mudgil now for almost two years. I had really really bad cystic acne for most of my early teenage years. I have deep scarring and my face was a mess. I was depressed all the time because of the way I looked. I played hooky from school- I was so embarrassed of the way I looked. It was only when doc treated me I finally got my life back. I'm a patient at his Long Island office and have recommended him to all my friends and immediate family. He's incredibly thorough, walks you through any procedure and is super personable...there isn't a question he won't answer. His staff is wonderful and make you feel comfortable the second you walk in the door. Lastly, and most important...you can reach out to him or his staff and get an immediate response back. Dr Mudgil is the best Dermatologist I have been to. I started going to his office in Manhattan and now go to Long Island as well. Having both offices is very nice. He is very knowledgeable and actually cares, which I can't say for many doctors. He has helped my eczema so much, it was awful before and now you can't even tell I have it - the light therapy really helps. Best Dermatologist around! read more

I do not recommend going to this doctor unless you have time and money to waste. I'm baffled as to why he has good reviews. The doctor is not knowledgeable at all. I went to him for my excessive hair shedding, he barely spent 5 min with me and right away without allowing me to mention my symptoms, wanted to put me on minioxidil which only masks the hair loss symptom without finding the reason. I asked for a blood test which he thought it wasn't needed, I gave him exactly what I want tested such as my thyroid, iron.. etc and when they got my results back I got notified that my blood work was all good. However when I looked at my blood work, my ferritin was very low, iron saturation low and my thyroid t3 low. All three are main reasons as to why I'm experiencing hair loss! I'm baffled as to how a doctor thinks all these are not causes for my hair loss. When I did ask him for an iron supplement recommendation, he told me to go to a primary for that. Bottom line, this doctor might have a fancy office, and looks like he belongs in Beverly hills, but he lacks knowledge that she doctor should have. I recommend you stay away and don't get fooled with these reviews that he might be staging. read more
