I got 9 buckets of dirt today from Brooks Stone Ranch, and it took me three trips because I got distracted at Home Depot beforehand and forgot to grab a couple more buckets to add to my 3. I felt real silly pulling up the third time but the guy at the counter didn't treat me like it. I feel even sillier because it really didn't save me that much money vs just getting bags of the TX potting soil from HEB - however! The quality might be much better, to be determined. I will say I've bought buckets of stone here once before as well, and that is a MILLION times cheaper than buying little bags at Home Depot or anywhere else. I got 15 gallons of crushed limestone for a small project for $5. Definitely worth it! Everyone I've spoken to there is super friendly and helpful, nobody is going to tell you to your face that you're dumb for taking three trips for 6 cubic feet of soil, and the prices are outstanding. So if you're a humble little DIY-er and you don't mind a little extra dirt in your shoes to save a few dollars, don't be afraid to check them out!
