He had gone a few times to get some feedback on a project he'd been planning and the female employee at the front desk was very helpful with giving suggestions and tips. When I went up a couple of weeks ago I was able to see the selection and we were able to speak to Jerry who showed us specific stones, their names, sizing and an estimate in pricing on the spot. There was another younger gentleman who saw us walking around and asked if we needed assistance later on. My husband had engaged with him in a convo before and joked around with him. We walked around and saw different sizes and colors and we ended up talking to a gentleman who was shoveling some finer rocks into some buckets that he had in his SUV. He was telling us about his project at his new home and showed the ideas from his query on ChatGPT!! Wow! That gave us an idea to try and upload ideas for our space using ChatGPT when I got home. It looked fabulous, gave some design suggestions and tidied up the space even though we didn't use the exact stone nor landscaping. We ended up buying some stones from here and some other plastic landscaping materials with stakes. There are tractors that will also load the rocks/mulch into your truck bed. We called them to setup an estimate and they showed up early for our appointment which was a great sign. The scheduling process was very easy and they were very accomodating. They first estimated a total of 5 days to finish the work, but they completed the floors in just 3 days. They walked us through every process and educated us on what we needed to do to take care of our floors. Thank to them our floors look amazing, and the house looks like a brand new home! I will definitely be calling them back in a couple of years when the floors need some extra love.

They responded with the address to their new warehouse and specifically asked if they were open on Sunday. They replied "yes 9-4." Sunday afternoon 7-23-23 I stopped by the business about 3. It was closed and there was no one in sight. I called the number plastered on the wall. At first the guy was pleasant enough telling me that they were never open on Sundays, but he didn't care at all that he had caused frustration and wasted my time, gas and resource. I told him that was absolutely terrible customer service. He then got nasty and hung up on me. (if you read the other complaints this guy is always hanging up on his customers and not solving the problems he creates.) I went on to run other errands. The issue didn't escalate to a degree that would warrant what they did next. 7:45 the next morning 7-24-23 the lying little creep had the Leon Valley police department text me saying that they were on the way to my home because they had evidence that I had broken the window out of the school next to my house. Well I don't live next to a school and I hadn't broken any windows. So I called the Leon Valley police Department. They said it was a hoax, to block the number then trash the message. I did that. Then about noon the unethical little twit had the Leon Valley police department call me accusing me of breaking out the window of the Home Improvement Warehouse and saying that they had me on video surveilance doing it - which is completely impossible since it never happened. He also informed the police that he heard me break the window - which once again is impossible because he wasn't there. But the police knew what type of vehicle I was driving and too much of my personal information. Once again The Leon Valley Police Department assure me that it wasn't a legitimate call and to call SAPD and submit a report because Leon Valley could find no evidence of a report being filed. The owners of this company are insane and need to be punished for violating the law by making false accusations and false police reports. What was the purpose of lying to me about their store hours? What is the purpose of making false claims to the police department? All I wanted to do was buy some cabinets.

I special ordered a Milgard vinyl window (3 single hung windows molded together). They said it…read morewould take 2 weeks. I showed up two weeks later to pick up the window but it had not come in. I called the next day, they could not find my order but later they said it would take two more weeks. Finally the window shows up and to my surprise it was defected on two corners of the nail fin and horizontal size was a half inch too big. The size of the window not being correct was not good but not a deal breaker since I'm remodeling. I spefically gave him the size of the window opening. And guess what I got....the exact size of the window opening; it should have been a half size smaller but like said I would take the window. I did mention to them that if they reorder the window it would be nice but we could still order the same size window. Anyhow, the defect of the window was due to bad workmanship and had nothing to do with Parker Lumber creating a problem. However, they dragged their feet to help me when I asked them. The person handling my order said I had to take the window and I said I was not going to take the window with the two defects on the nail fin. I also said to them that this was a workmanship defect from the manufacture. And also said that their sample window did not have this defect and if it did I would have never bought this window. For some reason who ever made the window grinded off too much of the vinyl at the corner. And part of the installation instructions specifically say to put a bid of silicon. Since the integrity of the vinyl was too far gone on one corner and on the bottom corner of the window actually had piece of vinyl missing. Once you install the screws to hold the window in place, the vinyl will conform to the shape of the wall it is being installed on and possibly causing the vinyl at the corner to crack. And Since I have a pier and beam structure it will move. Even though flashing would go top of the nail fin, the possibility of it leaking there and could cause a bigger problem years later. The person handling the order said the manufacture the window was acceptable to use and he could give me 10% off. I repeated to them what said initially and I wanted another window. District Manager was rude and kept cutting me off as tried to explain to her why I did not want this particular window. I also asked if I could take a picture of the window defects and she never acknowledge that question. She said two contractors saw the window and said it was acceptable to use. I did not believe her. She also suggested I could use it as a casement window. I was not going to do that. She said the reason I rejected the window was because it was the wrong size but she could only give me part of one window. Then conversation abruptly ended when hanged up the phone. That did not make since the window is molded as one unit. My coworker said "Wow, did she hang up the phone on you?" All I can say it was not a good experience to say the least. I felt terrible. I had a hard time contacting someone at their corporate office. I finally was able to speak to a lady whom was very nice and listened to the problem I had and said she would have someone look into the matter and call me back. I still have not heard back from someone at corporate. I did call credit card people to get my money back.

They stated that we would receive their services at a great price as long as they could take befote and after pictures for their website and brochures. It took them 4 months to completely build the add-on sun room and porch. Their concrete company broke all of our sprinkler lines which they replaced, they did not put the shingles on the covered patio as promised due to the stating AFTER that it would cost extra, we had to re-caulk everything because there was air gaps everywhere (between the house and porch along with outside and the porch) because they caulked the outside but not the inside of the enclosed patio, they forgot to install the storm door and exterior fan, the concrete has cracked and sagged where they extended the patio which is now unlevel with the porch, the company tried to pay us in order for us to make a payment on the patio so we wouldn't mess up their rating on the Better Business Bereau, the insulation is absolute garbage and makes the enclosed patio into a sauna even with blackout curtains and a 14 seer A/C pumping 24/7, and overall, it looks like a half-ass job. We wished we would have just done it ourselves versus paying this company to build a half-ass enclosed and extended patio.
