I've had back pain ever since high school. I never had the nerve to visit a chiropractor but instead had physical therapy at times. After a heavy and reputable recommendation, I decided to visit Mugavero Chiropractic in Bradford. The first visit was free along with an X-Ray and diagnostic consult. There, Dr. Mugavero gave me my first adjustment. I had been fearful to have anything done to my back. However, his care and humor put me at ease. He has a hydraulic table which assisted in the adjustment. I felt safe. And afterwards, I could feel the difference of relief. He was clear with a course of action that would alleviate my suffering. First I never write reviews .. I started seeing Dr. Mugavero about 2 years ago. I made an appointment for my DOT Lic. During the exam I told him about the pain in my back, pain level 9-10, 10 being the highest. Dr. Mugavero said when I was ready come back for an evaluation. It is the BEST thing I have ever done. My pain level went to a 3 - 4 after 2 months, pain I could live with. Shortly after that, I went to a 1 - 2 pain level. Now please believe me when I say I'm at a 0 - Yes ZERO. Mugavero Chiropractic is a wonderful wellness practice. A warm welcoming staff will answer the phone and/or greet you at the door. Dr Mugavero will listen and work with you for the best plan to get you on the best road to wellness. When I first started seeing him I had mobility issues and terrible back spasms. I couldn't do normal things like bending and putting on sneakers. It was so uncomfortable to bend or get down on the floor/ground I could plant flowers or weed my garden. It's taken some time, but it was totally worth every bit of it. I average 10k+ steps a day now and my flowers this summer we're amazing!! My whole outlook has changed. After 2 years of bouncing around from different PTs and chiropractors trying to fix my shoulder pain I was referred to Dr. Mugavero by a friend. I was skeptical since my shoulder pain seemed to be an unsolvable mystery. Dr. Mugavero showed me the importance of a healthy spine and nervous system and how it effects the different functions of the body. I've finally felt relief in my shoulder because of his adjustments and traction on my spine. I would recommend Mugavero Chiropractic any time. I had severe pain in my left leg, could hardly walk. After X-Rays Rich quickly said that I likely had a bad pinched nerve in my back and that he may not be able to help. He did try a could of treatments, but then advised me that my problem was worse that a chiropractor could resolve and recommended I speak with a back specialist and consider injections. That is what I did, and after two injections I was fine. Rich was not able to help me that time, but he was honest and pointed me in the right direction and that is something I greatly value. I first went to Mugavero Chiropractic a few years ago after hurting my back at work and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Dr. Mugavero not only relived my pain from the injury but with regular treatments has made my back virtually pain free. I worked in construction for most of my life and have had back pain to some degree almost always and I just accepted that pain as "normal". Everyone is so nice at Merrimack Valley Pain Relief. Whether I book my appointment 3 weeks in advance or that day, I always get the best treatment. I hurt my back recently and had to make a last minute appointment. They got me right in and took such good care of me.
