I guess you could say it's a "hidden gem" since it's located in a small plaza I didn't even know existed, on Airport Rd. There is quite a lot of parking space. Restaurant was busy, and lots of people were eating there. I checked out the menu and found the prices to be quite reasonable. You can see the selection of sweets and some selections of the curries once you enter the restaurant. You can also smell the flavour. Staff were nice. There is a separate section towards the back of the restaurant where drinks are prepared. Restaurant has quite a lot of seating space. As for the food, I found it to be very flavourful and well spiced. I like that it wasn't overly spicy (as then I wouldn't enjoy it). Food was great. There is a lot of variety to choose from, including thalis, naans, a wide variety of appetizers, biryanis and more. There is also a good balance between vegetarian friendly meals and non veg, which is great. I loved the badam milk and the mango Lassi, though it was a little sweet. There is a lot of variety in drinks offered as well.

I would give them three star for a) not answering the phone, b) long wait times However, if you want best Amritsari kulcha in Toronto GTA, this is the best place and there is no competition. No matter how angry or upset you are due to wait time, when you take first bite dipped in white butter with their flavored white cholle followed by pickled carrots, chutney and onions, all that anger just disappears in thin air. The white cholle are really the best and have unique flavor just like what you get in punjab. We like their saag and makki ki roti along with cholle bhature and Royal faluda. In 10 days trip we visited this place three times and would highly recommend it for someone craving authentic Punjabi flavors. Please don't forget to tip the staff in cash and generously as most of them are students.

Visited this hidden gem the other day finally! Here's what we tried: - Tandoori chicken momos - Malai paneer tikka - Spring rolls - Amritsari kulcha with channa - Kali mirch chicken curry with butter garlic naan - Gulab jamun sizzler - Shahi tukra - Masala Goli drink - Fresh Lime soda drink When I tell you this was a FEAST I mean it! We were pretty full by the time we were done apps, the malai paneer tikka was so soft and mild and the spring rolls were so crunchy and tasty, both were good vegetarian or non spicy options! The momos were my fave (no surprise there) haha The amritsari kulcha was stuffed !!! You can't see it in the pictures and I wasn't able to capture it but that platter alone can be shared by two people! The kali mirch chicken was so flavourful and perfect with that buttery garlic naan :) The gulab jamun sizzler was so yummy and filling but to be honest I preferred the shahi tukra! This is only because I have mentioned it before but I find Indian desserts to be too sweet for me but the shahi tukra was surprisingly a good balance, they're basically fried pieces of bread with sweet milk so what's not to like haha Last but not the least we washed everything down with the masala goli drink (cola infused with spices) and fresh lime soda, perfectly refreshing and to aid in digestion of all the rich goodness! Thank you to the mughal mahal staff for the warm hospitality and royal feast, we will be back to try the rest of the newly revamped menu and items! This place is well known and was packed to the brim so make sure you make reservations and check them out y'all :)

Nice ambient place with one of the most amazing Amritsari Kulchas in the area. Definitely a must try. Frustrating part is that they do not let you enter the wait-list on call and when you reach there, you end up waiting for about 30 min average. Overall, service is fast when you get your table and prices are decent. Here's the food ratings. Amritsari Kulcha : 4.5/5 Chole bhature: 3/5 Papdi Bhalla Chaat: 4/5

When you're craving Kulche Channa, Mughal Mahal is the first place that comes to mind! We've tried this dish at other restaurants but these guys always take the lead-- the quality is just superior, and you can tell love and effort has been put into everything you order. Their Butter Chicken (full marks as it's boneless) is also one of my favourite items on the menu, along with their Tikki and Samosa Chaat. You will notice a bit of a wait, I wouldn't say 45 minutes like other reviewers (you know we like to add masala on everything), but more like 15-20 minutes. Reasonable, and worth the wait. Highly recommended, whether you opt for dine in or take out. I promise, you wont be disappointed! ____________________________________________ Instagram | @6ixstreeteats

I came here on a Sunday evening with a group of 6. Now, let me start off by saying that I've gotten take out Chole Bhatura from here in the past and it's always been amazing. But this time, the food was not the best. We decided to start off with: Chaat Papri - standard, but pretty small quantity Dahi Puri - just ok, they were stuffed pretty well though Chicken Tikka - The absolute WORST, it had very little flavour, not colour to it and is definitely tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile. You could also tell it was definitely NOT made in a Tandoor. Goat Kebabs - Pretty good Paneet Pakora - Just ok Mixed Vegetable Pakora - Good When it came time to order our main, we went with: Boneless Butter Chicken - they had a special version of this dish, one with dark meat, and one with white meat. We got the white meat version and it was actually really good. Chole Bhatura - Good value for money, but the chole are not like what they used to be a few years ago. Chana Kulcha - A really big thali with one medium sized kulcha, served with chole, aloo, raita and salad. It was average. Naans - I honestly don't think they have a tandoor here because they naans were definitely not tandoor ki naan. You can easily tell they baked it in something like a pizza oven and then tried to finish it off on a pan to get it darker. Overall, I would not recommend dining in, as the service is extremely slow. They really only have a few a employees and you can tell they're stretched pretty thin with the main kitchen, takeout orders and table service. We had a very nice older gentleman take our order, but you could tell he wasn't an expert in the items they served. We asked him what the difference between the Kulcha and the Amritsari Kulcha was and he kept saying it was a "secret recipe" We actually just wanted to know what vegetable it was stuffed with. He brushed us off so many times, we had to go to the takeout counter to ask another employee. It's really frustrating because this place has been around for so many years, but the quality of the food and service provided are decreased significantly in the last few years. Highly doubtful I will return.

Best place to eat Amritsari Kulche with chaná and imli vale piaz. It's a busy place most of the time . I'm just disappointed with the disgusting restrooms. I hope they can pay attention to cleanliness.

I was insisting on eating Indian food by the airport, close to my room. This was my second choice since the first one was closed. Tough to find for most tourists. Situated in a shady strip mall. The inside was pretty compared to the neighborhood. Quite on a Tuesday evening. Service was quick but un knowledgeable. They brought the owner twice to explain dishes. I ordered the fish curry. It seemed safe without any warnings. Oh my!! I had to get yogurt to douse the fire. I'm not blaming them for my discomfort but I didn't enjoy my meal. Choose better than me if you don't mind the rough hood...

This place hasn't been reviewed in awhile but its been around a long time, so they must be doing…read moresomething right. We ate in at an available table, though this does seem to be more of a take out joint - there are three or four tables. When we said we were staying, they said we could pay at the end. All the food is on disposable plates and there's no table service or water brought out. The food was ready at different times and the person in the kitchen just said the name of the food and looked at us and we got it from the counter. The chat burger was so flavorfuland comes comes cut up but still together like a burger. It's doused in sauce, diced fresh red onion, a bit of diced tomato, and other toppings. It was fantastic. The food is spicy but also sweet and super flavorful. The masala fries were very good and I don't know if I'll ever feel the same about just ketchup and fries again. The vegetable momos were very good but eclipsed by all the other delicious food. The vegan kalga gyro (they say Jy-ro) came wrapped up with fries, onion, cucumber, melted daiya, and at least two delicious sauces. Quite a hidden gem. We were the only white people in there, which is usually a good sign. They seem to do a steady take out business including pizzas. I didn't see lasagna anywhere on the current menu.
