With all of the bad talking about Dr. Syeds office from ONE patient and him not giving the whole story, I would like for inform ya'll of this. Yes, I am an employee of Dr. Syeds. Our Dr has been out on a personal leave since January and we only have a nurse practitioner who can only see so many people by herself. We have an after hours clinic on Mondays from 5-7 and on Saturdays from 9-12. This one patients significant other called the office and said they needed to schedule their other half an appointment as soon as possible. We explained to them that we did not have any openings, but he was more than welcome to come in on Saturday to see Hannah. They said that was fine. A few days later, the patient that needed an appointment calls the office and says that he needs to be seen. We told him that we did not have any appointments this week and he was more than welcome to come to the clinic on Saturday. Now let me mention, this patient didn't bother to say "I don't care if its a few weeks out, I just need an appointment." He just hung up. Then he comes into the office and demands all of his records to me. As I was trying to tell him that he would have to pay for the records, he cut me off and said that he did not care, he would pay for them. So I sent him thru the doors and told him which girl to speak to about the records. When he gets back to her he starts being nasty, rude and disrespectful to the staff. When Hannah came out and was trying to talk to him, he continued to be nasty and rude. Every time Hannah tried to talk to him, he would cut her off and demand that he was leaving and needed his records. Hannah tried to tell him that he was offered the clinic on Saturday and he said "I'm not sitting here on a Saturday and waiting to be seen." The patient said that he would be back the next day to pick up his records and pay. Well guess what? He never showed up to get them. So yes, we DID discharge this patient. Why would we want to continue seeing you?? None of the staff was EVER rude to him until he started being nasty to us. This patient states that Hannah didn't "Council" her staff. How do you know that she didn't do this? Because it wasn't done in front of you? Prior to all of this, he NEVER once tried to come to Hannah in private and discuss what was going on with him. He just came in and flew off the handle. Now all of this "The receptionist was disrespectful" NOT true. I am the receptionist in this office and I have nothing to do with this. I never spoke to this patient or their significant other. The only time I spoke to this patient was when he came in and was demanding the records. So before you go on to all of these review sites and start bashing the office, make sure you tell the whole story and not half to make us look like the bad people. This is a great office and we see tons of patients a day. We have not had any bad remarks. read more
