What a great stop as we traveled from Salt Lake City to Denver. Fresh eggs made on a Skillet, Fresh waffles. The iced honey latte was delicious with house made Lavender. The staff was friendly and the shop was welcoming and had a great vibe

Nice little coffee shop with that small coffee shop vibe. The coffee drinks don't disappoint but the lack of a pastry selection does. They do offer a choice of sweet (sugary) or savory (bacon & chive) waffles which are quite good. I'd give them 5 stars if they had a pastry case but that notwithstanding I'll still stop here whenever I pass thru town. read more

Stopped here on a long drive. Very cute ambiance and great tasting coffee. They even had oat milk! They also had farm fresh eggs for 3 dollars which I totally would have gotten if I wasn't in the car for 20 hours! Stop here if you want coffee on your drive. read more

Stopped by for a morning coffee on our road trip from California to Minnesota. Coffee was absolutely wonderful and my husband had a delicious Chai. Wonderful, friendly service too. Would definitely go again! read more

Headed here after an interstate overnight while on our way to Jackson Hole. A bunch of praises - they have alternative milks for those not dairy inclined. Hand crafted espresso drinks. House roasted beans (the roaster is in the shop corner!). And the doughnuts, the doughnuts! They make their own dough. They hand fry them themselves. Then they dip them in their own frostings. Have "The Money" if they are serving it the day you are there. Believe me it is worth the 4 minute drive to the other side of town. read more

First time here. I travel a lot and try to find good local places - this one will go into my contacts! They roast their own coffee beans on site, and the mix they use for lattes is excellent. Nice place to sit and chill or if you're traveling it's a very short detour off the highway and then you're right back on the road again. Highly recommend! read more

We aim to help people learn more about coffee. From various topics like: where it comes from, what a coffee bean really is, how to brew it, what grind setting to use with your gear, and many more ways to change your coffee drinking habit into a coffee tasting experience. We want to help the everyday person experience a high quality cup of coffee at home every day as well as on the road. You won't have to be without your favorite coffee no matter where you are; and we can show you how.

History

Established in 2015.

Established in 2015. Mukwano Coffee Roasters started in Casper Wyoming by our good friends the Hornes. They lived in Uganda for a few years and in that time became great friends with people and families there who lived, owned and operated coffee farms. When they came back to the States, they wanted to continue to support their new found friends they made and communities they lived in. In that desire, Mukwano Coffee Roasters was born. It is now operated in Rawlins, Wyoming by Cody and Christine Anderson. We offer single origin sourced coffee for single bag orders, retail sales, wholesale sales, as well as monthly subscriptions. Our beans are specialty grade quality and fall into the third wave specialty coffee category. We have a roastery in Rawlins, Wyoming and operate a coffee trailer throughout the summer.

Cody and Christine are the owners and operators at Mukwano Coffee Roster. They love coffee and love serving and caring for people. They purchased the business in 2018 as a coffee roastery and have been working hard at getting the business into a location in Rawlins, WY as a full on coffee shop. They want to help take your coffee drinking habit to a coffee tasting experience through education of coffee and excellence in their field. Come on by and meet us!

Mukwano is a gem in Rawlins. Whether Cody, Chris, or Jemima make your coffee, it is going to taste delicious. For a little coffee place, they have a wide selection of drinks to choose from, along with a variety of flavors and non-dairy substitutes. My daughter really loves their donuts. When you order at the trailer, you'll be able to have some pleasant conversation while they whip up your drink. Mukwano Coffee is the best! Me and my friends came here the morning after a very tiring night. We really needed some good caffeine to get us up and at 'em! So we came to this adorable little spot and ended up not only getting amazing coffee but sharing an amazing conversation with the lovely owner. Everyone go get coffee here!
