My Dad is a well-known distinguished West Point graduate who served in Vietnam and has always lived by the motto "duty, honor, country". Seeing a company who supposedly employed fellow patriots was appealing. This company promised to take care of all my parents cherished belongings with respect. The night before the move date, the driver was arrested for a hit and run. Should have been a major clue. The company said that they would dispatch another crew, but it would be be 17 hours as they were coming up from Texas. Day 2 and nothing, no updates, no anything. Day 3 and several voice mails later, crickets. So my parents were supposed to be in a hotel and leave on Day 4. Now they are left scrambling for a reputable company (lesson learned), and they are now having to pack themselves up. This sham of a company kept thousands as a down payment for services not rendered and no communication. On Day 4, I decided to get involved and threatened legal action since they stole my parents money. Someone finally called my sister to cancel the order and refund the money. I shutter to think who else they have stolen from that didn't want the hassle. No reason, no explanation, no morals, and no shame. How could they just take money from trusting people and not respond to any update requests? Do NOT use this company, EVER. There is a reason they are not a BBB company. They will sell you the world and leave you high and dry. I will be sharing this experience with all my friends, my father will share this horrendous incident with all of his classmate. Their actions are absolutely despicable, unprofessional, and borderline illegal. My family's pain and suffering is worth more than just the returning the deposit and an empty apology. I expressed how uncomfortable this made me and asked him not to do that and he replied don't worry I've been doing this for 14 years, did the same my glass mirrored coffee table, one of my side tables and the glass coffee table are both cracked. They left my things unattended in an elevator and hallways, and on the street, they a glass table to hold a door open, somehow my Louboutin's were removed from a package and left on the side of the road for anyone to come by and take, somehow my bedding was removed from my packaging and thrown around the truck, I was so uncomfortable with how they were treating my things. I actually asked them to leave 30 minutes before their time was up and I had other movers finished the remainder of my items When I called to report the broken items, one of the movers, I had answered the phone and was extremely rude, he told me he will deny my claim and hung up on me. When trying to write a review, I am finding that it is hard to write a review about this company, which I feel is very sketchy. I think most of the reviews are fake. Extremely frustrating that I now have to be out items with no replacement from this company or even an apology just met with denial and rudeness. Earl claiming he no longer has access to his account and unwilling to help. Basically lost access to my entire Venmo account over what looks to me to be financial fraud. I would stay away and use a more professional mover next time. These guys are cheap but like other low cost services, you end up paying more in the long-term.
