We have lived in 11 states, and this was move #14 - so we have used a LOT of moving companies over the years. As I told Jay, via email, on May 12th, 2026... in all of our moves his crew was the absolute slowest. It was our opinion that they were milking the clock. They took twice the expected amount of time to load, and the price for loading jumped proportionally. My email never received a response from Jay. Why am I doing my review on August 23rd, 2026? Because Our new build home was completed and we moved in this weekend. We found a great moving company here in Conroe that reminded me just what good service looked like. I am not going to complain about broken items made from pressed wood. Things happen. I am going to tell you what we saw as the Pods were unpacked. Our furniture was supposed to be covered with the moving blankets we purchased, and shrink wrapped as we told the crew. They carried items outside and said they were wrapping prior to putting items in the Pods. Guess what? A complete and utter lie! Our $8,000 sectional pieces were all laid on their sides. Not wrapped in any way. The material up against the filthy floor. Not a single blanket or inch of the shrink wrap we purchased was used. They didn't even lay a blanket on the floor to place the couch section on them. Absolutely ridiculous! Stained and torn material. Had they used the material we purchase to protect our furniture, as requested, it would not have happened. Next, our two dressers were damaged. How? Well when you pack a truck or Pod, everyone previously would load a dresser covered with blankets and the blankets shrink wrapped in place. Then things like nightstands (also wrapped) would be put on top so the flat sides were together (top to top). Not in this case. They sat the feet of the nightstands on top of the dressers with only one thin blanket between. I'm sure you can guess what kind of indentations those legs made. It was easy to tell which Pod was loaded first. One appeared that they at least tried to be professional. The second looked like they stood at the back and threw things in towards the end. Here is the kicker. At the end, when they tried to load a washer and dryer with no blankets or shrink wrap, we were told that they had used it all. We had another roll and made them use it. Those were at the back of the Pod. Want to know what was shoved behind the dryer? Six full rolls of green shrink wrap - in various widths - that never got used. They willfully didn't use the material we purchased and hid it in the Pod after the fact. Who does that??? Allstar Moving may once have been a quality business, but our experience was far from demonstrating that. I can't say if it is poor hires and training, or a serious lack of supervision, but in my opinion they are nowhere near that any longer - if they ever were. My personal recommendation is that no one who values their belongings should ever hire Allstar Moving in Beaumont Texas. In 14 moves this was the absolute worst experience we have ever had. The least professional and the worst outcome. Before Jay says that this was all due to using Pods. Everything in the Pods was dry and secure. Storage was in a climate controlled warehouse and delivered when requested. The Pods only travelled from Beaumont to Conroe. No water damage, insects or anything else. Any damage was from the way the Pods were loaded and the fact that our furniture was not wrapped or protected in any way. Also, the basics of loading were not followed. Couches on their sides up against a filthy floor. Legs of nightstands on top of dressers. This crew either tried to damage our furniture or were never trained and supervised. This was our last move. Hopefully this review helps someone NOT have the outcome we have had.

Didn't hear anything, so I called Tuesday , June 22 and talked to Rocky. He said they couldn't do it Thursday. When I asked why we were able to book it online if it wasn't available, I was told "Ive been moving for 30 f#$*#ing years". I informed him we were done. So unprofessional. I've contacted the moving company but they don't seem to have answers and don't really act like they want to help figure it out. I've looked at both houses anywhere and every where it could be.
