Back I march 2026 I went for my six months checkup and prophylaxis. This procedures are covered in full ($0) in my dental insurance because she is "IN THE NETWORK" and it means lower or $0 co-payments. At that time they asked to payed $4.60 for an X Ray not covered by the policy: I did pay them at that time and everything was settled. Later on I received and explanation of benefits from Cigna. They paid the office $67.00 pus the $4.60 I paid them. This statement shows the patient responsibility is #176.00 Wen I phoned the insurance company they told me that Dr. Prendiville had not signed the contract for the new year, so the insurance company paid the bill on the category of 'OUT OF THE NETWORK" which it means much less money for Dr. Prendiville. The insurance company said the dental office need to resubmit the claim and sign the contract in order the claim to be paid in the NETWORK category. Dental Office wants me to pay the $176.00 for their mistakes and I refuse to do that specially because I am a retired individual with a limited income (SSA). They made some adjustments to the account with an outstanding balance of $71.40 as of 06/26/26, but still they want me to pay for their inefficient practices. I told them that I am willing to go to arbitration or small claim court to resolve this matter. I have asked twice to speak to the Office Manager, but their subordinates claim she is busy. Definitely I will not return to that dental office.

His new place is a huge step up. Top of the line equipment. He has a partner now. He's just as good. There are a few emenities going there. Wi-Fi, blankets, drinks, and more. I've not seen any children there, so I think he's limited to adults. If you're looking for a dentist I'd say check him out.
