He promised to repair it again within 10 years as stated on the signed quote. He did not keep his word. I called him as soon as it started leaking on a Friday and he said he would come out Monday to get the snow off and tarp the roof. I tried calling him that Monday and the call would not go through. I tried for the next two weeks, same outcome. He clearly blocked my phone. Several issues here: 1. He blatantly lied to me saying he would help me and take the snow off the roof and tarp it to prevent serious water damage from occurring. 2. He blocked my number. I was not aggressive or rude when I called him with the issue. 3. He did not stand by his warranty. Would you want someone like this working on your roof to protect your family? His behavior is sickening and illegal. No honesty or integrity. Does not stand by his work.

They're respectful of your time and provide excellent customer service. While the roof was being cleared Nick noticed a few small issues that were causing water to enter our home. He was back the next day to seal them up and cleared snowfall from the previous night as well without me even asking. We had many, many more issues other than tile with John Giordano...We hired John as the general…read morecontractor for our home renovation and was the worst decision ever made. Him and his team demo'd our old bathroom and glued tile to the shower walls that were chipped, broken and uneven which resulted in uneven, crooked grout lines and left us having to replace tile and grout again after we fired him from the project. When I asked his workers why they were putting chopped and cracked tile up that was uneven, they said "you were in a hurry for a shower, right?" The workers, Tone, Travis, Bruce and Anthony he had were less than skilled leaving unfastened molding and trim against the bottom of the wall, breaking brand new tile, creating bigger than needed holes in our ceiling for can lights, leaving live electrical wires dangling from the ceiling and scratched vinyl flooring that they just installed. Not sure if this was all due to their lack of experience or the weed they were smoking on the job that probably impaired their ability to do the work properly. John also never arrived to our house when he said he would. Said he would be here at 9am. Then texted at noon and said he'd be there by 3pm. When he finally did show up, he would work for a hour and then disappear. This happened almost every single day. And when he did show, he did subpar work, dropped our butcher block on the ground, cracked a brand new vanity sink, broke a coffee maker and much more. He does not know basic math either.. I had to keep ordering more tile and flooring as he was not able to properly give me the correct amount the first time. He is going to say he is going to do something and then not do it. The certified and licensed professionals we hired after John to FIX all the mistakes and complete the work in our house were shocked at the less than acceptable quality of his work and could not believe how much we paid him to basically do nothing but create more work and a bigger mess. We hired him because he was able to start right away and what a mistake that was. If you ever come across this person or his employees, RUN! The I only thing John Giordano is good at is over promising, underdelivering and cashing checks.

The place was completely gutted down to studs and John and his team transformed this space. They did everything from hanging and finishing drywall to installation of cabinets, sinks, showers, tile flooring in bathroom, and lvp flooring in other rooms. He was able to take down and move walls to enlarge the bathroom as before it was just too small. He opened up the door way to the living room to make it feel more spacious. He also added beautiful built in shelves for more storage in the bathroom. He was able to add a stackable washer and dryer to the corner of the kichen for our tenants. The end result is amazing and I have received many compliments on how beautful the place is. He was responsive and took on any extra additional work we needed and worked nights and weekends to get the job get done. I've also used John on a job at my home. Hlast year he painted my cabinets. I found this process pretty easy and would highly recommend Yelp for booking estimates. We ended up getting three local roofer quotes through Yelp but ultimately decided on John and his company due to their price, level of professionalism, and explanation of the roofing process. What we also appreciated was that he was not a pushy salesperson, he explained to me the process of the roofing process in simple terms. We also liked that he had lots of proven references from reviews printed out and he also had a piece of literature he gave that he mentioned his wife wrote so people who weren't in the industry would understand the whole process. For us, that really helped. I had did my research before about GAF certified contractors in the area and knowing that they were a Master Elite level contractor gave us confidence they would do a good job and offer the best warranty. Throughout the process, John and Jenny communicated to us well and even when we had trouble deciding on our shingle color, they delivered three sample colors of actual shingles so we could decide. We ended up going with a color that John helped us pick up since we trusted his judgment. The rain had delayed our start date on the roof but John and Jenny always communicated us if the date was pushed back and John always personally answered his cell phone whenever we needed to get a hold of them. Jenny dealt with our tear off and replacement of our roof and it took 2 days. They cleaned our lawn in-between and got rid of the dumpster afterwards very efficiently. My husband dealt with the roofing team and they were very knowledgeable, professional and diligent. Our chimney was very old so they arranged to consult with a masonry before working on it. We have no complaints and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get their roof done. We also needed to get a chimney cap and a duct vent replaced and they added it to our roof cost at a very affordable price. We are thoroughly pleased with our new roof!

I just wanted to clarify my experience -- short and simple- you confirmed an appt you didn't keep and then decided not to accept a project/work further because my tone of frustration (of which your lack of communications was the root cause ) was not acceptable. You say you "value mutual respect and clear communication in every client relationship. " Unfortunately, you didn't even communicate until I contacted you to ask if you were still coming. You left me waiting without notification so that's already contradictory to what you value. Management then chose not to continue to work with me because they felt the tone and nature of response was not acceptable after an apology The truth is...No one called to apologize or acknowledge the no show until after I called. You can't expect to gain respect if you don't give it. Although you had an emergency at 7am (our scheduled appt was 10am), it doesn't take more than 5 sec to send a quick message to cancel. You had 3 hours to cancel an appt you couldn't make. So it is for the same reason that I prefer not to work with your company. I also value respect and clear communication which did not occur with your tone and lack of accountability in how you handled the matter. Hopefully this feedback will help future prospective clients.
