This place is so cozy it's like each section is a part of your home and you could totally see every single piece in your House. That's amazing. I've lived two minutes a way for 13 years and never took to patronizing the shops on Main more than once. Mainly because I assumed it was out of my price range. There were a couple of ladies circled in the back of the store engaged in conversation. Aside from this intimate circle, no one else was in the store. Also, it is a small store, so you absolutely can see when someone comes in. The cold shoulder led me to leave the store, and visit Kiki's Kottage (which is only a few doors down) where I was promptly and warmly greeted. Kiki's has beautiful pieces, and I purchased a gorgeous buffet there. I had a stellar customer service experience from start to finish at Kiki's. I was prepared to purchase items at Madison's, but too bad no one cared to acknowledge me as a customer whatsoever.

The prices are pretty good…read moregenerally but some of the items are a little bit overpriced (for example a simple small glass bowl was $3 but a cute little metal with decorations was also $3) I always visit the shop whenever I'm in town because it's just so conveniently close and they usually have one or two things that I like whether it be small knickknacks or useful household items. Today I picked up a brand new dish drying rack for only three dollars! They also give away the occasional bakery item, which I find really nice. Most of them are just past their best by date, but are still good to eat. The young lady at the counter is always very cheerful and nice to talk to. She's been there the last two times I have been and has always been very nice and helpful. Greeting us as soon as we come in. Will be back!

Per their website, they describe themself as a furniture and art gallery dedicated to providing accessible art and design for all. It's MUCH more than a furniture and art gallery even! The place is truly busy with an array of displays on both floors. It's almost a hodgepodge of furniture, art, apparel, accessories and all sorts of random items for your home. Thanks to its multi-layered designs-product lines, the store decor is a bit busy and random...no uniformity whatsoever. Not quite beautiful...but very, very interesting! What I love is its super-arty nature...featuring several artist studios within the store, giving you that sense of finding freshly crafted/designed items. I was a little apprehensive, even though i live and breathe design oriented stores. Just walking in made my adrenaline flow! I saw brands that i know and love and an eclectic bunch of accessories and "chotchkies" that make the store stand out from everyone else! The owners are brilliant with their buying and merchandising expertise and I'm now in love! The store fits in perfectly with the Blakeney vibe and demographic and I hope they grow and prosper for many years to come. What a pleasure it was to see such a beautiful shop and meet and work with some of the friendliest and most welcoming staff. I will be back, for sure!!!!

The store purchases used furniture pieces, cleans them, paints/distresses them and replaces the hardware. The owner picks high quality pieces and breathes new life into them. I was very impressed with the quantity and quality of the pieces displayed in her showroom. Even old shutters and windows become works of art. All around great color choices - some complementary and some with real pops of color! The prices are very reasonable and the owner is usually working on a new project in the back room. Hooray for recycling and beautification! Really cool store!
