Many customers tend to settle in for those events so if that's your plan make sure to show up early for better food/service and wait times. I swear on game days I've seen less energy at the actual sporting events; BWWs fills up fast and keeps the energy high when there's something going on. I'd recommend coming on a slower day because the staff and bartenders are really nice and fun to talk to when they're not so busy. The food is what you'd expect from a wing place but the overall palette is a bit on the hot side. Even mild wings are pretty spicy but they have lots of other options like lemon pepper, parmesan garlic and/or the new flavor honey garlic (ask for well done extra crispy or all flats if you like that kinda thing-they have always been very accommodating to special requests). Also the chicken strips/tenders are always hand breaded and extra crispy and nothing at this store is made in advance, it's all cook to order so you'll get fresh food, but again, the kitchen doesn't get any bigger when game day rush sets in so expect to wait if you show up in the middle of a fight or big game. If so, settle in relax and grab a beer and before you know it you'll feel like you're actually at the event.

I should have known that every sit down restaurant in town was packed except Applebees. There were only about 7 cars in the front parking lot and some in the back for workers. Before I entered, the outside was not maintained. They sat us down at a table that was super wobbly. We went to 3 different tables and it was all the same. I took my son and dad out for dinner. We ordered the same thing. Riblets, shrimp, and boneless wings. My ribs arrived and they were pretty good. We ordered the shrimp when she gave us out plates. I was done eating the Riblets and it took 19 more minutes to get 6 shrimp. All three of us were out of drink and had been for over 12 of the 19 minutes. Finally, I had enough and asked for my bill so we could leave. Of course that took a long time too. I like Applebees, but the culture of the entire staff is substandard. I mean horrible substandard. Not once did a manager approach our table. This store is in prime real estate for the area and it is sad the way the entire operation is ran.
