I took my Lincoln mkt into the shop to get my alternator replaced and after the job was done. The concierge has the mechanic talk to me about how he found a wire problem he supposedly fixed for me for free (wired burnt up touching the manifold exhaust). That he claimed FORD did once they replace the engine and I never had a wire touching the manifold exhaust since I bought the car from the previous owner cause it would've been caught fire. Yet 2-3 days after he serviced my vehicle and mentioned it my grounds wire connected to my battery catches fire and laying against the manifold exhaust but as a professional technician he should've done something to prevent it due to it can create an electrical fire that a engulf my entire car and total it. I felt like he rigged that because prior to the service I drove the car until the other alternator failed and never had a fire problem then another thing was I had my father call them a day before on the pricing for labor to replace the alternator which they said $225 and when I got there the very next day he said $349+ then claimed he don't have nothing in the computer showing they said $225 then drop it to $294 and said he can't go no lower. I went there for my oil change yesterday 4/20. When it was done I checked my oil level before I pulled off was at 100%, got home car was smoking which coulda been from fluids that leaked over. Fast forward 2/3 hours later car overheats on eway. Temp ran high all the antifreeze leaked out, oil level now at 0%. I called was told bring vehicle back. Once car cooled down had to put antifreeze in there to make it back. Once I made it back they looked at the car maybe 30 mins cone tell me something about the thermostat and some other piece all of a sudden. I asked them did they break this piece that was not connected anymore. They claim they didn't and now I need a new thermostat and something else which they quoted me almost $800. After a simple oil change no issues with my car prior. I had to sign a waiver to take my car and they informed me of the problems so they wouldn't be held responsible. Said don't drive it recommended a tow from the shop. I would never go back here again. Something was done on their end and they didn't wanna acknowledge it. Never again. PEOPLE beware this shop and do not go here if you value your time, vehicle, and earnings. Amanda wasn't there and we know this information was handed over to you, but we'll fill you in on the true details and I advise you to check your cameras and audio if you have it. We took the car to Belle Tire for a starter. It was changed with a new starter that was specified for the vehicle. Then it was realized the flywheel was broken by Belle tire. The vehicle was towed to Multi-State Transmission. They replaced the flywheel for $1200, and when started made a squealing sound. Technician said that the vehicle had the wrong starter in it. Couple days later we took it back to Belle tire and they replaced it with another new manual starter. In the process their technician said that the vehicle was leaking transmission fluid. Took it back to Multi-State Transmission, they then charged $600 to replace transmission seals. My father was told they were putting genuine Toyota seals in the vehicle. He was there when the seals got there which were from Motor Craft. Toyota doesn't make those and he paid $100 for the seals. A couple days later we noticed it was leaking again. Took it back to Multi-State. There's a 90 day warranty on your company's work. When we took it back they said the starter was wrong (after it was replaced correctly the first time and then the second time). They didn't honor the warranty and wanted to charge $1000 to replace them. Then used the excuse of the starters being the reason to the leak. This is ludicrous, the starter that was specified was changed twice and we didn't have any problems with Belle to get it changed again. At this point, it's questionable if the technician even knows what he's doing or diagnosing. Overall, thank you for showing this audience and potential customers that you insinuate guest of being liars. read more

I advise to try another company I took my car in and it took three weeks to fix. I was told three days, Be prepared to have out of pocket expenses that your warranty company may reimburse. Please check if they reimburse at an 100 percent or partial. After waiting three weeks, my trans still had problems and now other problems has arisen. Don't waste your time or money. First off let me say never again will I take my business to them let alone recommend them. So I purchased a car for my son who is just learning how to drive and just my luck 4 months later transmissions go out. (And no my son was not beating on the car)So my father in law and 2 friends of mine said back in the day these guys did good work. So I call John and he said bring either Friday or Monday and he would look at it. so Monday comes and he calls me and says 2600 and I need 760 down ,I paid 1000 dollars for the car so I paused and said let me think about it. I knew engine was good and the person I bought it from had put some money replacing things before I bought it so I called John a few hours later and said I would bring money and he said ok remember you gotta put deposit of 760 and then it will be 2600 and he could have it done by Friday ,I said ok and I came in and gave him the 760 and that's where this all went wrong!!!! First thing he says after he takes my 760 is ok I'll call u tomorrow, In my head I'm like for what??? u said it will be done Friday and he says no u had to bring in deposit and then we take transmission out open it up and let u know the real price........ as you can imagine I only paid a grand for the car and I was real hesitant paying the 2600 but I agreed to pay the 2600, now you tell me it's gonna be more????? I was furious but John said sir let's just see it could be a little more or a little less let's just wait and see I agreed thinking well maybe it will be less......I should have known better. I thought that was a real scum bag move to do to someone , quote a price and then take deposit and then say we will look at then tell me a higher price than what u quoted me the first time. Listen I'm not expecting people to work on my stuff for free I know people need to get paid a fair wage but this was bullshit he should have let me know this before I paid the 760. Then he told me he would call me either Tuesday or Wednesday with quote he didn't, so he called me today and says like 5000 or 4 something I lost it NO FUCKING WAY!!!! Then he tells me that if I don't have it done with them I lose the 760...... You know if you would have told me this first I would have never brought it to you and I would still have my 760. I had a weird transmission issue, and got the car to MultiState. The next morning, Marty checked everything out, ran data checks on all the systems, drove it around, and couldn't find a problem. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! This is the 4th time in 4 months our vehicle has been in. To replace the transmission the first time took two and a half weeks - all kinds of excuses why. Then a month later it had problems again and they had a week. Got it back and it stopped working again. Finally managed to go a month without it breaking down, and then it went out again. They wanted to charge me $700 for them to open my transmission & "find out where the noise is coming from". I was told by the dealership that I needed a new transmission. My Dad and I thought it would be good to get a second opinion. I took my car to multistate and the technician checked it out. He told me that my transmission looked great. I put on some new brakes and rotors and the car rides like new. Multistate saved me about $6000. They were attentive and very helpful.
