ENORMOUS MISTAKE. BELAIR is honest and their service is excellent. I was absolutely disgusted by what I had to go through with that other place, and pressured to say a few things were part of the accident knowing full well that they were not. BELAIR thoroughly explains everything, they are honest about repairs needed and their work is perfection. I will never take a car anywhere else and I continually tell everyone what a great shop they are, and that their work is amazing. Don't hesitate to choose them if you are in an accident. You will never go anywhere else after you use them. I don't know if I have ever stopped to write a review before, but BELAIR is THAT MUCH BETTER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE.

After servicing my vehicle, the dealership installed a part incorrectly and returned the vehicle without properly inspecting its work. My vehicle also had extensive damage that was not present when I brought it in. The leather and seats were cut and scratched, other areas of the interior were scratched, and the exterior of the vehicle was scratched as well. A portion of the cigarette lighter/ashtray compartment was also broken. The dealership placed the large, dirty protective vehicle cover inside the passenger area and left it across my back seat. I was allowed to drive all the way home without anyone telling me it was there. I did not discover it until my daughter asked what the dirty cover was doing in the back seat. I am attaching photographs that clearly show: The part that was installed incorrectly The cuts and scratches to the leather and seats The scratches and damage throughout the interior The scratches to the exterior of the vehicle The broken portion of the cigarette lighter/ashtray compartment The dirty protective cover left inside my vehicle These photographs show exactly how Mercedes-Benz of Orland Park returned my vehicle to me. I immediately contacted Mercedes-Benz USA and was told that a case had been opened. I was given a case number and expected someone to contact me about the improper work and damage. Despite being assigned a case number, I never received the promised follow-up or any meaningful resolution. This was not a minor inconvenience. My vehicle was improperly reassembled, damaged inside and outside while in the dealership's care, and returned to me in an unacceptable condition. My complaint was then ignored. A luxury dealership should carefully inspect its work and treat every customer's property with professionalism and respect. Mercedes-Benz of Orland Park failed to do so. I own two Mercedes-Benz vehicles and have supported this brand, but this experience has completely changed how I feel about Mercedes-Benz. Because of the improper workmanship, extensive damage, lack of accountability, and failure to follow up, I will never purchase another Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz of Orland Park and Mercedes-Benz USA need to accept responsibility, correctly install the part, repair all interior and exterior damage, and explain why my complaint was never properly addressed. The problem I had is that after they finished, I had what appeared to be dirt all around my leather steering wheel, which when I used plain wet (water only) paper towels to wipe off, whatever the substance was, stripped all my leather off my steering wheel! I suspect the substance was probably brake fluid? Just be warned that they don't care about the inside of your vehicle as far as making sure they're not leaving your interior filthy! I don't know how they could turn over your vehicle back to you with the steering wheel being so filthy, with a corrosive substance so strong to remove all the leather off! No issues with their mechanical qualifications though. You might want to put covers on your seats and cover the steering wheel somehow if you get brake work done!

The engine was…read morerandomly stalling and was sometimes difficult to restart - truly alarming while driving on the highway or in traffic. The guys at Brighton were able to identify the problem; a failed crankshaft position sensor, which they replaced (I'm amazed they could find the parts!). I know the engine and transmission are jammed into that car right down to the millimeter so, Brighton had a real challenge. They honored their original quote but I can't imagine it was enough to cover the cost of this repair. They sent me a follow-up text a week or two later asking about the car. I offered them MORE money (which they graciously declined). My opinion; these guys are dedicated, earnest and highly competent.

It originated at a Ford dealership where he was a Master Technician. It was obvious he was knowledgeable and CARED about the work he performed on customer's vehicles. Since I started watching the channel he got an opportunity to partner up with the new owner of this place. The Ford dealership he worked at was too far for me. Brighton is much closer so I gave it a try for some maintenance I needed. I cannot say enough about the experience!! Rich and his team did a great job. He knew I was waiting so he expedited my request. Already long story-short. The price was fair and the work was perfect. A++++ Thank you Rich and Brighton
