I stopped by today and always get a warm fuzzy feeling in my no no place when I go in. they have it set up so that you can navigate the room groupings with ease. I am always on the hunt for fun dinning room chairs, as most of you know if you have come to a diner party at my house I don't have the best chairs to sit on. I came across a set of faux Saarinen chairs that made me squeel....I think I may be in luv.... It happened so fast the next thing I knew I was spinning uncontrollably like a little child, around and around, and around..... until the shop keep came by and asked me if I needed a hand, the only hand I needed was to help me out of the chair so I wouldn't fall over. needless to say they were a little out of my price range and sadly had to leave them behind... one day I will be back. oh and if you can't make it into their store they always list their wares on craigslist.

I just love this store!…read more Many of the artisan or unique household accessories I've personally looked up online in the past few months were actually here on display, available for purchase! The types of items stocked here are totally down my alley, so I admit, I am biased. I love modern, clever, functional, non-fussy things, items with clean lines, nothing superfluous (I hate clutter. So things have to be practical!), smart and contemporary. It's like the buyer at this shop totally read my mind. I loved practically everything here. They have the coolest binoculars, lightweight puff blankets in a bag (light as a feather. Really!), candles, decanters, baskets, placemats and trivets and coasters, reflective tags and pins, cards, stunning jewelry, thick "butcher" aprons with the coolest hardware clips, organic baby linen bundles and gifts, contemporary tea infusers, glassware, adult card games and notebooks.... I could go on and on. Everything is cool here and beautiful to look at. The ladies who work here were all super nice and totally let us browse at our leisure. They were also very knowledgeable about all the merchandise. I've seen some of these items at local craft fairs, so I know they are locally made, by local artisans. There's a small section by the rear counter with sale items. Nice! This is an amazing shop, and the perfect place to get a hostess gift - or something for yourself!

And that's why I was surprised to find a quasi-furnishings store I actually liked. Granted, Provide in Crosstown carries more than just fixtures and accessories for your abode. Among the designer espresso makers are some pretty fashionable clothing items, which, for me, broke up the monotony of the selection of housewares (lamps, vases, tables, cushions, etc.). Someone must have had people like me in mind when they came up with the concept for this store. On to the fashion! I found some beautiful (although pretty high-end) tees by designer James Perse as well as some local style, like Vancouver's own Shereen De Rousseau's gorgeous cross-platform jewellery.

Unique pillows and throws will have you wrapping yourself up on the couch and hibernating next to your decadently scented boutique candle from Europe and a cup of Nespresso from that handy little machine that spits out espresso exactly how and when you want. Prices rarely dip below the $200 mark but you'd almost swear it's worth the splurge and temptation to claim "fashion need" bankruptcy. Unique combinations of neutral tones and tactile materials mix with bohemian and eclectic to create the most stylish wardrobe a girl could hope for. Hardwood floors and neatly arrange racks make for easy garment spotting and you'll also find a small assortment of very groovy shoes and bags to compliment your gorgeous look.
