Great place for a musician, people are nice and they know there stuff. My only complain is that it could be open longer.

He's definitely more the musician than I am (still learning) but we both agreed we liked it here just as much if not more. Great selection all around, very friendly staff. Very glad the billboards pulled us in - it's a bit off the beaten path behind the big box stores, so you're unlikely to find it unless you're looking for it. But it's well worth the trip!

But I haven't been in there for a year or so and I went in there today to trade in a guitar for another. Which they say they do. So my guitar is brand new 1200 dollars and on reverb used the guitar is going anywhere from 600 to 1000 used. The guitar I wanted was 679. The guy told me they wouldn't even be able to get close to 600 for my guitar so they wouldn't do it. They are no better than a pawn shop. Give you the lowest possible price they can then sell it for the highest possible price. Sucks because I like buying from a local shop. I will be making sure none of my family or friends or anyone that talks to me about guitars will ever go there. There's a way to do business and a way to do dirty business and they got dirt all over them. Also not the first time they've screwed me over. They said their company Diamond Guitars had a guitar that was made to be the signature guitar for one of the ffdp guitarists but it was never produced and they just had a couple sample guitar bodies. So I bought one. Turns out it was a lie. Now when I talk about it they just say its a part guitar. Even though when I bought it there was as they said only 5 ever made. I should have known but I was naive to the guitar world.

This has not been my experience in some guitar shops I have visited in my 55 years of playing the guitar. I told the gentleman who assisted me that I was interested in buying a smaller-bodied acoustic guitar, most likely a Martin. He showed me several and did not rush me as I played them. He kindly answered all my questions and gave me some great information about the various models. Then he brought out a very special guitar - a Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe. The MD is a great guitar anyway, but this one in particular was stunning, with beautiful silking on the top and a gorgeous bookmatched back. When I played it and heard the sound of it, so full and resonant coming out of that small body, I just fell head over heels in love with it! Although I looked at and played a couple more, I knew that guitar was THE ONE. It cost somewhat more than I expected to spend, but this store has both layaway and several financing options, and these guys made it happen for me so that I walked out and went home with this incredible guitar. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I have owned so many guitars over the years (I couldn't even count how many) but this guitar is the love of my guitar life. I'm so glad I decided to stop in here that day. Highly recommended!!

Instead the stomate came in well below what was anticipated and they gave me several different options to choose from. They provided a loaner for free since the repair wouldn't be done before school and even tried to give me two reeds for free, which I insisted on paying for. The prices are fair and they've got a great variety of instruments and gear for the size of storefront they have. The staff is top notch. I had only been in there 3 times and they called me by name when I walked through the door. This is a gem of a place for our town.

Due to the fact that I have a full time job and the business has extremely unusual business hours for a guitar shop (closed on weekends, open 7:30 - 10:30 & 12:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday), I decided to call them because I was extremely interested in purchasing the speaker cabinet, but I live 3 hours away. Their voicemail message said to leave a message and they would return my call, so I left a detailed message explaining the situation on Monday, 4/6/26. Two days later, on 4/8/26, I still had not received a call back from them. I called again - this time during their unusual business hours. Someone answered the phone. I explained the situation to him and we made an oral agreement that he would hold the speaker cabinet for me until I could take the day off work and make the 6 hour round trip drive to pick it up from him on Friday, 5/1/26. During the first 2 weeks that followed, I saw that the cabinet was still being advertised for sale by them on eBay and Reverb. The third week, it is no longer on these websites. On Thursday, 4/30/26, the day before we had agreed to make the deal, I called them back to confirm. The man told me he doesn't have the cabinet anymore. He said it was being stored at the residence of an employee, and they can't locate it. It's missing, lost, gone. He said if he ever finds it, he will call me - which would then be the first time he ever called me. I took the day off work to make the long drive to purchase and pick up this cabinet because they are closed on weekends and like most people, I have a full time day job Monday - Friday. Thank goodness I called first. I've been looking forward to purchasing this speaker cabinet for three weeks and my day of paid time off is completely wasted - and without even so much as a simple 30 second courtesy call to save me from driving 6 hours for nothing. I would not recommend doing business with these people.

He had it shipped to me within three days and even sent a few extra sets of strings for me as well.
