We live on Fort Riley- our front yard and common areas have not been edged in over TWO months, and this is unacceptable. Add to that, the mowing is not done on a weekly basis, and is often skipped for several weeks. The grass gets so tall that it sprouts fuzzy tips, several species of which turn in to BURRS that stick to my kids' clothing and socks (not from walking on the grass, but on the sidewalk) because the grass is SO long, that you cannot even walk in the middle of the sidewalk without brushing against it. Part of our rent is put towards landscaping and the service we are expecting is completely falling short. Our yards and common areas look like trash. And, instead of being better at edging, the landscape workers spray grass/weed killer along our fences instead- which kills not only the weeds, but the grass all around the edge of the fence. read more

We have been with Munie for lawn, weed, and shrub care for years and are very happy! We recently had clover creep in from another yard, called Munie, and they were out within a couple of days to diagnose and treat the lawn. It is now clear and back to green grass. They have helped with tips to get a very respectable stand of grass that is good in the summer heat and great during the rest of the year. We mow tall in the heat, water deeply but occasionally, and mulch when hot. They take care of fertilizing, weed control, and the occasional issue such as when I had black spots in the lawn. I am not saying they are the cheapest you will find, but they are close and the results are excellent! read more

My previous review of Munie yard service can be amended now. The company representative reached out to me and has we have come to an agreement on the payment. They will not demand the payment for the unauthorized service. Because of their cooperation I will continue the service and hope that the yards look better in the spring. The customer service seems to have improved greatly. read more

I did not request service from your company but today I was driving behind one of your trucks and the gentleman behind the wheel was distracted on his phone driving very erratically and aggressively. He was driving from one side of the lane to the next, seemingly unable to steer the car straight. The car in front of him was making a turn onto a gravel road and your employee swerved to get around them. He was completely in the turn lane before whipping back into traffic which caused the trailer of the truck to wobble. I am appalled by how someone with such a large load of equipment can drive so carelessly, and I feel unsafe with drivers like your employee on St Clair roads. I will DEFINITELY not be using your grass services until I see that you have hired someone who has had a driver's license for more than 6 months. read more

I was a multi-year customer interested in helping my lawn at our rental property. I cannot speak to their lawn care services as I've not visited the property since we entered into a contract. I can, however, echo another review here that they damage property and their manager will deny damage. First damage happened in April 4, 2019 and then again twice in the fall of 2019. The first damage occurred while my tenants were on vacation and Munie serviced the property while they were gone. The gate on the 3 year old fence was damaged and Munie said that it wasn't their fault. This gate became unusable and my tenants locked it shut and began using the other gate to the back yard. Munie notified me before each visit so I could ask my tenants to unlock the gates. Munie said they would visit on November 11 or 12 (their words, not mine). My tenants contacted my property manager in the fall and were upset that both gates had now been determined to be broken after Munie yard applications. It was after this that the tenant requested no more visits from Munie unless they were home. I asked the property manager and tenants if they were aware of gate damage reported to me by a Munie tech in September and they said no. Why not let the tenant know the gate had been damaged? They are the ones who needed to know to not let their dog out. The week after Thanksgiving, I called Munie to report the damage and was transferred to Craig Munie. Craig and I had a pleasant conversation in which he said send him the invoice to repair the gates and we'd agree to part ways amicably. Craig said we were done for the year so it would be easy to terminate. I left the conversation feeling like Munie owns their mistakes and I went away happy. After the first of the year, I received a letter from Munie that stated my services would automatically continue unless I contacted them to cancel. I thought it was strange because Craig said we were ending my contract. I called them to check and low and behold my contract had not been cancelled so I had it cancelled. Because November to February is the slow time of year for fence building, I had a hard time getting an estimate on repairing the gates. Instead of getting my fence installer, I asked my property manager sent me an invoice of what it would cost to fix it in February and I emailed it to the girl that answers their phones since I didn't have Craig's email. It took 8 weeks, after 6 contacts from me, to hear from Craig's phone girl in an email that Munie wasn't responsible. I haven't shared all the damage pictures here, but I will say that damage came to $250 according to my fence company and that it included both gates to replace cedar boards and hardware. On different service dates (three different occasions), their hoses extended the gates past their normal opening and bent hardware, cracked wood, and removed fastening hardware. They could have eliminated damage by shutting the gate after entering and running their hose on top of the dog-ear fence. Having slack would have helped too. If you have a fence, this isn't the lawn care company for you. read more

If They damage your property they will refuse to pay for repairs.. even after their employees apologize for doing the damage and you have photos of them at the time of the damage speaking to them... the outcome could've been much worse had the object gone through my glass & hit me in the head... the police officer I spoke to pointed that out... horrible company!!! This company blows. I'll post a few pictures of my yard, which are after 10 rounds of their "deluxe" treatment plan and about 6 different weed re-sprays just this year. I don't know what constitutes a "greencare professional" but yours clearly don't give a shit. It doesn't take a professional to see this yard and know that something isn't right or working with your treatment. Started with Munie in the spring of 2019. The first year things went very well. My yard was green and full. I was extremely happy. Then in June of 2020, they treated my yard and killed large patches. Only weeds are growing in these spots now. When I called to ask for a technician to come out, they customer service rep ask me when the tech was out last. I said in June. She replied that "we had a mix up in chemicals on two different dates in June that they are aware of." However, the tech came out and told me I had grubs and wasn't watering enough. My neighbors yard, who doesn't receive any treatment was just fine. I asked for a supervisor to come and look. That never happened. I only got a $45 credit on my next bill. Extremely disappointed in the long term results. I added a before pic from June of 2018. The rest are from April 2021. read more

I really hope Corvias finds a different contracter soon. It has been 3 weeks since our back yard has been mowed and it is the middle of July! All the land in between the fenced yards haven't been mowed in 3 weeks and there is over TWO FEET of grass growing everywhere in the back yard. We moved here 2 years ago and since then, we have gotten skipped along with all the land between the fences multiple times which when having kids that play outside is not fun. They were contracted for leaf removal in the Fall and never did it-- not even in Spring time as promised as they were running behind or something. I finally waved down a worker for that, 6 months after the service was supposed to be done and I had to point to the huge leaf pile in the backyard and our AC units sufficating in leaves as well. I had to walk the worker over to the leaves and point because he spoke absolutely no English. Also I should add that on all these occasions, the community center contacted them weekly or bi weekly and it did no good! Not a trust worthy company if you need work done!!!! read more

Munie has been a disappointment. We used their service for numerous years and they have yet to get grass to grow in my side and backyard. When I called to share this, the person I spoke with said that she is dealing with the same situation in her yard. Munie treats her yard as well. In addition, I called twice to request someone to come to our home to discuss treatment. We were told that their would be a service request completed and we would receive a call to arrange a time for the service call. This call never happened. The Munie technician working at the adjacent property to mine sprayed what he said was urea fertilizer that drifted into my back yard. At the same time, I was cutting the grass in my back yard. I first smelt something chemical at my back, then I turned and felt spray on my face. I called the company and spoke with Craig Munie who was defensive. He let it slip that herbicides were being sprayed next door--NOT urea. The technicians are probably told to say that. Craig Munie opined that the issue was trivial because "all their technicians go through professional training." He denied that any problem could exist. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had a brand new fire pit in my yard and they came to mow. I saw the mower come into my yard and my fire pit was completely fine. As soon as the mower left, my fire pit was destroyed. They are refusing to pay for the damages that THEY caused. They ruin your property and don't pay to replace it. Horrible company. I have used Munie Lawn Services for 5 years. They have always done a really good job for me. the employees that answer the phone are pleasant and helpful. The technicians do a good job and explain what they are going to do when I ask them. They are pleasant and friendly also. I have called the office to say that there are weeds that need attention and they will come out shortly after I call and treat them. I would highly recommend them. read more
