The only reason why I am leaving 2 stars is because the doctor he saw was very knowledgeable and helpful, but the front desk and scheduling is a mess. UPDATED they finally called us back after this review and then ended up postponing his surgery "until further notice" a week before. What a joke. They literally said we will call you in January. It's now February 24 and no call back. I called yesterday. They told me the doctors coordinator would call me back. Guess what? No call back today. What a surprise!

The whole process only took about an hour and a half with a mere 15 minutes for the actual procedure. The doc who performed the surgery was Dr Alecandrovich and he was as friendly as can be. Great dude. It was performed at the Paramus location with the pre and post-OP appointments at the Edison located reviewed here. Absolutely appalling experience…read more I tried to get an appointment with Dr. Shah to help my 16-year-old son, who has suffered from chronic headaches since the age of five. Despite offering to pay any amount out of pocket -- because they don't accept our insurance -- the office refused to see us simply because we were "out of network." Dr. Shah does not accept cash-pay patients. As the founder of this office, he can apparently create whatever rules he wants -- including refusing to make an exception even for a desperate, suffering child. This is not just bad customer service; it is inhumane. Turning away a suffering patient who is willing to pay is unconscionable and violates the very principle of medical care: to help those in need. If you are looking for a practice that values compassion, patient well-being, and basic human decency, look elsewhere. This office has made it clear that policies come before patients.
