am a resident of a building one of their crews are painting and they are the worst painters I've ever witnessed. They prop open locked doors with their tools which caused a very expensive package to get stolen. They don't clean up after doing their sub par painting and leave garbage all over the building. Most of them don't speak English at all so good luck communicating your issues to them. Other minor issues include them blasting loud Spanish music from a speaker, loud enough to be heard inside of the apartments when the doors and windows are closed. lowering their scaffolding onto the blooming landscaping flowers, leaving cans of soda outside ON THE STEPS where people could trip and fall over them, and more that isn't coming to mind right now since I had a package of bullion stolen by someone who got in the building through their (propped open with a paint bucket) door that is supposed to stay locked all the time. Before all this happened, when they first started painting they left open another security door ALL WEEKEND WHEN THEY WEREN'T EVEN WORKING by running a cable through the door into the electrical room (also supposed to stay locked). I wish I would have taken photos of everything but I was trying to give them the benefit of doubt. EDIT: IT ALSO JUST CAME TO MIND THAT THEY PUT THE MASKING UP WAY TOO EARLY AND A BUNCH OF PLASTIC BLEW INTO THE OCEAN. UNACCEPTABLE read more

Dishonest, Unreliable, and Completely Unprofessional I signed a $14,250 contract with Munyan in April 2024 (70% HOA / 30% homeowner) and paid $3,250. After cashing my check in May 2024, they did almost nothing for over a year. The only work they bothered to do was partial stucco demo, temporary plywood, taped Tyvek, and debris cleanup -- none of the real work they were actually contracted and paid to perform. In June 2025, instead of honoring the contract they signed, Munyan tried to push a new $45,000 contract, more than 200% higher, claiming "unforeseen conditions." This was completely false -- they had full access to the wall and were shown all damage before the original contract was ever signed. They attempted to add charges that were never agreed to, ignored the written contract, and tried to force me into an inflated replacement contract after stalling the project for over a year. I have now overpaid $2,500 for work they did not complete. This company has shown dishonest behavior, terrible communication, and zero accountability. This company left a total mess at my condo leaving pain spray everywhere , a broken sprinkler , cigarett butts and trash all over the area. I am now in the process of taking Mr Munyan and Mr Hamden to small claims court to clean up this mess their careless workers left. I have given them 3 months to fix the damage their workers left so now they will see me in court. Why any company would rather be sued and have negative feedback left all over the internet is just insane to me when they easily could have resolved this in a few hours. In response to Munyans reply to this post , why did your painters make such a mess in the first place? Is this normal to not cover anything and leave paint overspray everywhere then come back many months later to fix the poor job your workers left if there is a complaint? Is it fair that I have to wait months for this to be cleaned up? Also I have cameras all over my condo and I can guarantee you there was nothing racist or vile said against any of your workers and if so did you report this to our Condo association / Management company or have any email proof of this? I did not think so. There were also no threats made period unless you think leaving negative feedback and taking you to court is a threat. Sounds to me you are making up lies to make your company look better because I exposed the work you did on my condo with photos to back it up and now you are upset. These photos are fact and this was left by your company over 3 months ago so you are right about the photos I sent your company back in February which still has not been cleaned up. I would never recommend this company, unfortunately I didn't get a choice because my HOA decides for my complex. Not only did they get brown paint on my white car but also my mother's car. Yes of course they gave notice, but I specifically moved my car as far away as possible to find my car covered in a paint tarp. Here's the complete incompetence...the tarp was reused and the wet paint side was on my vehicle when I took it off. So now I have to pay to get my car fixed and the paint off of it when they were the ones that ruined it. The quality of there painting is trash as well seeing as how I STILL have blue paints tape on my door overhang that they never took off. The worst part is it's not like they rushed, they took there sweet time to do our entire community. read more

My hoa hired these guys to paint the exterior of my building. I return the next following day one of the long gutters is laying next to my shrub. Its clear these clowns took off the gutter. These dont just fall off by themselves. Spoke with one of the managers. Of course they will not admit and states we dont remove the gutters. Maybe they normally dont , just a coincidence it was off right after these clowns painted. Ill give them the 1 star , the paint job was decent. read more

I am an owner in Hawks Point West community and our HOA hired this company to do exterior painting. Overall the work was great and understandable issues arose. This was a big job and I am satisfied with the quality of the work. However, my issues are centered around fixing a few minor issues but the project manager, Caleb, refuses to communicate with me and keeps claiming he has nothing to do with the stains. I will update my review and report back if and when the company chooses to fix my issues. Issue 1: Diluted dark brown paint left stains on my driveway during clean up of the paininting equipment. Issue 2: When a ladder was placed against my gutters to gain access to the roof a gutter guard was not used and my gutter was dented and disloged the gutter hanger. When it came time to get started, I had difficulty contacting Bill. When I was finally able to make contact, for no apparent reason Bill was very rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional towards me and said "I'm out, I don't want to do it". This is the kind of integrity and customer service you can expect from this guy and his company. First know that I am an industrial quality engineer for Turner Construction. My neighbor had Munyan come out to assess some stucco and painting work. I needed some so Jim Lovelock from Munyan slid over to my home to assess some work and took photos and would get me as estimate. 1 week went by, 2 weeks went by (meanwhile my home ins company is asking me for the estimate to make payment). No contact from Munyan. I call them and talk to them. Their attitude was very arrogant, entitled and dismissive, but told me they would get back to me. Then get an email that they are to back logged and I should call another contractor. In other words they just thought I was not worthy of doing business with. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

Our building is currently being painted by Munyan. As an owner and resident, here is my personal opinion. The crew does not put their materials away at the end of the day or even before weekends. They have a trailer in our parking lot but leave their cans, buckets, ladders, tarps around our property and building. One Friday they knocked off early after they had taped tarp to our railings. They are also loud. Yelling from third and forth floors to the ground floor, over machinery noise, with earplugs in their ears, to one another. They all have cell phones but evidently yelling is better...in Spanish, at the top of their lungs. And, not just a few words...long drawn out messages. When they move furniture, they do not replace it. They dripped paint on my car and then covered it with a car cover. Communication from the crew to our Board of Directors, so they can let the residence know what is going on, is bad. After my balcony was power washed, plastic taped up around the sliders, painted and plastic removed, I moved all my belonging back onto my balcony. The following week, after the company advised they were on the other side of the building, a quiet Monday morning, a man jumps onto my third floor balcony, scaring me to death. Work was not completed in this area but they did not advise anyone. I reported to our Board of Director's President and he said he let the company know we wanted them to put the things away. Another Board member said he emailed the company asking the same. The company has not complied. Clearly the company is not advising our Board of Directors so they can advise the residence where workers will be. This would only be common decency. read more

Clear Choice Windows and More Inc. recommended we use this company. Needed 2 have doors painted ahead of installation to lessen paint fumes. Munyan delayed our door installation by a month, did not prime before painting and painted wrong color on interior.....then said they thought I would like other color better! Paint is coming off door, has wrinkling, peeling and multiple drips. On May 5 they came and acknowledged that job was very poor quality. I was told they would be out 2 strip and repaint interior that week and would be out the following week 2 strip n repaint exterior. I have not heard from them since but did receive a bill from them 2 days after they were here. Invoice is for $385 for painting doors, frame, jam and trim.....none of which has been painted.....other than doors the wrong color. read more

I had Munyan paint my three story office building. Part of the paid contract was to paint two logo's on the side of the building . Painting and payment was completed months ago and I still have not been able to get them to return to finish. I have made several calls with no results.Would I recomend them ? I don't think so . Worst painting ever. I wish there were zero stars. No professionalism or pride in their work. There are paint footprints on my driveway pavers (not their fault they said). My side yard is covered in paint and completely dead as that is where they dumped their cleaning buckets (not their fault they said). There are drips everywhere through the house (on my hardwood floors, on walls, on shutters). The wrong type of paint was used on closet doors which is peeling off. Despite senior management coming to see all the damage from their negligence at which time they AGREED it was terrible painting, they won't complete the job (over 10 doors still need to be painted along with the staircase and some window trim), nor remedy the problems their employees created. Clearwater .over Christmas and New year 2016/17 The two guys actually doing the work are pleasant and helpfull, ,...... but the management could be more considerate,.... it was requested by notices on our front doors to remove our patio furniture etc by 21st December,........... my expectations were that I would be able to replace my patio 'stuff' by Christmas,....... but it is now Dec 30th 3.30 pm,and the workers have taken a hiatus for several hours, due to malfunctioning of equipment, according to Mike Johnson, the project manager per phone call from his office.... ..I fear that I will be forced now to live in this living room clutter, over New Year's celebration too. The crew per Amanda in office should sweep/mop down stairwells after their pressure cleaning and spray painting,....after 5 days I have now done this myself, all other stairwells in the condo are covered in a white powder dust,.... Mike Johnson informed me that the crew are not expected to clean up after their work. read more

If i could give this no stars i would. The staff is very unprofessional. Most of them dont speak any english at all. They were in charge of painting my whole community because i live in a villa. Our president of the association kicked them off the property because they were doing things wrong and not listening. They came back the next day and my president had the cops called on them. They were painting over rotted wood that was suppose to be replaced, not only that they were covering up wood that had termites in it with calk and paint just so they wouldnt have to do it. When painting our front doors they didnt sand anything and painted the door when it was still shut. So now it still has a ring where the doorknocker sat and all around the edge of the door. When they first arrived to do pressure washing they didnt let any of the residents here know nor the president of the association. They are all around unprofessional, creepy, and never coming to my house again. DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR HOME! read more
