This is a response to your comment made on my original review. You stated that you "explained that additional pressure could damage the deck and offered options for cleaning versus stripping." That's great, but you never explained that to me - probably because we don't have a deck. You also said, "When we checked with you before leaving, youmentioned everything looked great." No, I did not say this, because we were out of town. I only saw photos that you sent of the job. I expressed that I was concerned that I could still see large dark areas in the driveway, but it assured me that if was just because that some areas were still wet, and that's why it looked dark. I paid you regardless, because you didn't want to wait the 6 hours until we got home to see it. I'm not really sure why you would make up conversations we never had, but I also do still have the text messages if you want to push this any further. We needed a major bit of cleaning on a small patio and sidewalk area outside my parent's Florida home. I looked at reviews, did my online research, and contacted Eli of Sandbar Softwash. Quick response time, quick to set up an appointment, and I was absolutely not disappointed! Eli was courteous and pleasant, a great communicator, and did a wonderful job! Very reasonably priced, the patio and sidewalk look good as new! He was even able to remove a lot of the rust from the sprinkler systems, and some of the mold that had collected beneath the sliding glass doors. Besides all these positive reviews on Yelp my experience with owner/operator Eli is far from stellar. I received a written proposal for my cage and patio cleaning/ soft power washing. We agreed to perform the works on a specific day and time, Consequently, I prepared my deck, removed most furniture and a lot of plant pots as to have the area ready for the washing. On the day of the job, 15 minutes after the agreed start time I received a text message from Eli letting me know he was just leaving his previous job and was still more than one hour away. That timing would have placed him around sunset at my cage and as a result the job could not have been performed correctly. He nonchalantly proposed to do the washing the next day in the afternoon. It was clear to me that Eli overbooked himself and omitted to inform me hours before his scheduled arrival time that he was in a bind. In stead he waited till his ETA was passed and placed me in a very uncomfortable position...with guest coming the next day. Needless to say the job was canceled. read more

Got the pool deck power washed. They got it done in a day and did an amazing job. I had previously got it cleaned with a different company and there is night and day difference between what Sandbar soft wash did. Our HOA needed to get the gutters cleaned (front and back) on our 32-unit association, as well as downspouts cleared. We specified that there could be no power-wash (except on downspouts) and no climbing on the roof; everything had to be done by hand and from a ladder. Eli truly listened. He did a great job, and even went to far as to straighten the bottom edge of some downspouts that had become "smooshed" over time. He not only provided great service, but of the 5 companies we contacted his was the low bid - and, he offers a 10% discount for repeat customers.
