I do remember some 30 years ago when the store was next door and the gentleman who owned it was as kind and sweet as on would expect in a small town. This has to be the saddest store I've ever been in aside from a market I once visited in Zimbabwe.

I headed straight for the tool section, where Jude helped me track down the exact drill bits I needed. Both Jude and Nathan were excellent--helpful, patient, and friendly. The product selection is solid, but what really stood out is the level of customer service. It's rare these days to find retail staff who go above and beyond, and these two certainly did (even humoring me as I reminisced about my own time working in retail). As a funny side note, I even got the chance to chase after a customer and his dog after he accidentally left a dog bone behind at the counter. Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough to return it--maybe he'll return for his purchase! There are also plenty of commonly needed tools and hardware, a pet supplies and wild bird feeding area, plus a small outdoor/camping section complete with Latitude 40 Maps - my favorite. This is just a supremely necessary place and I appreciate it's existence, even if I do have to go down to bigger stores for some things.
