Over the following…read moreweeks, we received no delivery date, no scheduling outreach, and no communication indicating our order was progressing in any way. Nearly a full month passed without a single logistical step being taken to fulfill our purchase. On February 6th, we canceled the order. MH2G then informed us -- via a form email -- that a 25% restocking fee had been deducted from our refund, per their cancellation policy. We formally disputed this in writing, pointing out the obvious: a restocking fee presupposes that merchandise was stocked, shipped, or handled in some way that incurs real cost to the retailer. None of that occurred. The items were never in a warehouse. They were never assigned a delivery appointment. MH2G had nearly 30 days to act and did nothing. Co-owner Julissa De Los Santos responded with a form letter citing their policy and suggesting a store credit as a "one-time courtesy." When we accepted -- conditionally, asking only that two specific lamps be delivered within a week -- that good-faith offer was met with silence. We have since initiated a chargeback with American Express and are filing complaints with the Florida Attorney General's consumer protection division and the Better Business Bureau.
