I told him I had $2000 and could I give him the $3k in 4 weeks. He said " no, I have to verify to the court you have paid the $5k before I can represent you. The judge will not allow me to without the money." I knew that was not true but I was in a situation I had never been in my life. All I had every had was a speeding ticket and I'm 62 years old. He never told me the money wasn't refundable if I decided not to hire him as my attorney. He told me he had to be at the courthouse the next day and he would let me know what I was to do. The next morning his secretary called and told me to go to a bail bonds man then meet Colley at the court house. Colley never showed nor did he call. He never told me what was going to happen. Nothing. He never called me after not showing up. He sent a letter telling me my court dates. I had no idea what to prepare for. When I decided Colley was no an honorable man and I didn't want to be treated so poorly. I decided not to have him represent me. When I notified him vis email he said he was not going to refund my money. He then lied Nd said " I notify all my clients that their money will not be refunded." That was totally untrue he never told me that, he didn't tell me anything except what I have just disclosed in this letter.
