The cashiers are friendly and the selection of snacks and drinks is awesome. There is also a fantastic ice cream selection that I am an absolute sucker for. The only downside to the Pop Shoppe is that they do not accept credit cards for purchases under five dollars. That can be a little inconvenient if you run in for just a drink or snack.

The gas station is right off the exit and was pretty big in size. Plenty of pumps and even though it was busy, we got a pump right away. Found out quickly that they do not take American Express. Garbage overloaded in all outside receptacles and blowing tumble weeds of "stuff" all over. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? The off/on from I-85 could not have been any easier. If you require other amenities in the area, there are tons of chain hotels and restaurants all around the station. One other thing worth noting. The corporate glamour shots on this listing from Circle K bear no resemblance to what the store actually looks like. The cashier wasn't wearing a mask and I didn't see any signs requiring a mask to be worn either. This was definitely a first, considering the mandate. There was one other customer there when I went and he was wearing a mask, and so was I. I didn't see any hand sanitizer or anything.
