This Murphy Express in Alpharetta was fine. I filled up here on my way to nearby Echelon Golf Club. It was busy, but not slammed, during my visit on an ordinary Saturday around 1:00pm. This location has 20 pumps, four of which are diesel. The gas prices were competitive with Kroger (after Plus Card discount) and QuikTrip around the time I fueled up. Good gas prices. I used pump 17. I tried to get a receipt at the pump, but nothing came out. The guy at the pump next to me saw my Georgia Tech plate and asked me if I went to Tech. We had a brief chat about Tech, Emory, and jobs which adds nothing to this review, but I'm documenting it anyway. While they fall under the same company, the "Murphy Express" and "Murphy USA" brands are different. Murphy Express is the brand for the standalone gas stations with convenience stores. Murphy USA is the older, smaller, but more abundant brand of gas stations that do not have full-fledged convenience stores. Instead, they have kiosks similar to Kroger Fuel Centers. Most Murphy USAs are located next to a Walmart. This Murphy Express happens to be located near a Walmart too. I'd fill up here again if I was in the area and needed gas. There's a restroom here, but I'd only use it if it's an emergency. read more

They have diesel and I need a diesel so they were a win-win for me. They have other gas products as well. And a convenience store.

Went today 02/08/19 inside to purchase some gas, attendant didn't say anything , she just kept putting cigarettes in their holders and I finally said Hello, she finally turned around and just said something like, What can I do for you? No hello, how are you. Very rude too when she gave me back my change. Didn't even say thank you, etc. I know this is a gas station but come on, don't be Rude!!! read more

Outstanding service! highly recommended:)) lowest prices AND they accept coupons no problem, clean store, & public restroom very clean, employees go above& beyond to provide fast, friendly service, corporate seems to care about their employees bcause they are in store at times asking employees how they feel,& I hear they pay employees high dollar bcause they appreciate all that the managers, district managers, & cashiers do, and they are worth it. Lowest prices, three pack specials on tobacco, dips, & e-cigarettes too, outstanding experience highly recommended UPDATE: this company pretends to care about their employees which they have work 9 hour shifts with no breaks, no lunch, & operations are ran by corporate which are completely inhumane. They stress make your sales, only to benefit corporate & BONUSES for corporate not employees who look exhausted & the lines are forever long bcause corporate is too cheap to hire enough people to accommodate shifts requirements to provide "fast service. No teamwork when all managers are telling one employee to do too much while managers standing around "lazy & totally rude to customers. They treat their employees like dirt, then have such high expectations with such pitiful pay. Ask around Murphy's express in Jasper GA is a terrible company with terrible moral, no teamwork& District managers are banking & get off on treating others with disrespect, & lack a virtue I hold highly 'VALUE.
