Didn't feel like Bruesters so my husband suggested we go to Race Trac. My friend (and his teenage son) were shocked (and laughed) when my husband recommended RaceTrac. We coaxed them into going and I am happy to say that it was really good! They call it Swirl World! They have several soft serve ice cream choices (self serve) with tons of toppings! They offer two sized bowls (both if which are affordably priced). The cost is not by the "weight" of your ice cream, just the size bowl you get. We had fun building our own sundaes! Oreo topping was out, we asked about it and it was quickly restocked. Great customer service! As we sat outside on their nice tables, we saw plenty of families going to Swirl World! We've made our friends believers that you can go to a Gas Station for good "affordable" ice cream! Give it a try!

If you have the munchies, and you aren't close to the grocery store, this is your place to go. Seriously, you can get your snack attack on here, no problem. My daughter is a slushy maniac, and although I don't get them for her often, I gravitate here when I am going to get her one. Prices are very reasonable, and they have an excellent variety of slushies including mango, lemonade, strawberry banana, watermelon, Coke, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, cherry...it really has something for everyone. Her friend tried her first slushy here, and she loved it. On the flip side, if you like beer, they have a huge walk in freezer full of cold beers. I mean, huge! Clean, spacious, variety, good gas prices. What more can you ask for in a convenience store? I'm a fan!

This location recently renovated their coffee station to include bar tap type handles to make it trendy to fill a cup with coffee. I guess they think if it seems like you are getting beer, your brain will automatically want to pay more? No thanks. The new prices include cappuccino or coffee. This isn't Starbucks or a trendy coffee shop where anyone wants to hang out. This is a gas fill up station and most people just want a cheap cup of Joe on the go. They should reduce the price so people stay awake when driving long distance.

This part should go un-noticed, because after all, it's just a gas station with a convenience store. Most often, I arrive well after the little restaurant is closed, so I don't think much about it. A friend of mine tells me a couple weeks ago that "You've GOT to try their biscuits" and the thought fell by the wayside. Well, on this lucky Saturday morning, I prance my chubby self into the convenience store to purchase liquefied dinosaur juice for my car, and I notice a small line forming at the biscuit place. Oh happy day! The biscuit place is open! Order in, I expected to wait for a few minutes, but nope. They nice woman behind the counter said "ORDER UP!" and I was headed toward bliss in my mouth. The biscuits (mine with gravy of course) are one hell of a value for what you get. Top quality, and service with a smile. I need to adjust my morning schedule to accommodate this newfound gut bomb. Deli needs a major clean and a cover over biscuits when on top of cooker. Today I waited on the person to come take my order from her talking at the checkout counter on store side. Got disgusted as I watched her mess with her hair and then put gloves on to take my order. I went ahead and ordered but should have taking it a sign not to. She got my order wrong and proceeded to argu with me it was what I said. I walked out! To many places where I can get the same food without all the nasty & drama.

I went to this store around 8:30 pm to fill out my gas tank and buy empanadas inside, and by accident locked my car with the keys and my cell phone inside. I went back to the store to ask any employee if they could call Triple-A for me. Well, no employee inside was able to help me with that. The lady in the cashier told me her phone was not working, same thing for the black guy. I asked if the store did not have a landline so that one of the employees could make a simple call to help a regular client of the store. The answer was no, according to the black dude, the store does not have a landline(really???). After getting no help from any of the cashiers, I went to the food session to ask another employee if they had a working phone to call Tripple-A, before she could even answer, the black guy came to my direction and told me to stop bothering the workers and that I could not be asking customer to use their phone, something that I never did. I never talk or ask to use anybody's phone, ONLY IF ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES COULD MAKE A SIMPLE CALL TO HELP ME. When I tried to explain that to the black guy, he told me I should leave the store immediately or he would call the cops Well, I did leave the store to never come back. I live I mile from that store and I always filled my tank since that store opened 4 years ago, I also I am a regular buyer of the empanadas, but never again. They lost my business. A gas station that has a rude, unprofessional employee like that tall skinny guy, with no sense of customer service skills whatsoever does not deserve my patronage.

I should point out the women's restroom was not working when we were here. It was easy to fill up the car, gas pumps worked well and the lot was clean. I did notice that a lot of travelers off of Georgia 400 use this gas station and it is next located next to waffle house.
