This is a gas station right off the exit of McFarland (exit 12). It opened earlier in the year and we have been visiting this gas station since then. The location is convenient and easy to get to (a red light allows you to turn in and out). The gas prices are always good and they have all the variety of gas that's available. I haven't visited their store inside, but I have seen people come out with various food and drink items. The bathrooms are new, but was a bit of a mess last time I went in. Overall, easy for me to grab gas before hopping on the highway and good prices is a win for me. read more

I think this RaceTrac is OK. For years, this used to be the top-dog gas station in the immediate area, but QuikTrip and Speedway have opened locations nearby in recent years, so it's really upped the competition. Plus, this RaceTrac is starting to show its age. This is RaceTrac store #114 and it's located just off Georgia 400 exit 12B (if heading northbound) and exit 12 (if heading southbound): McFarland Parkway in Alpharetta. This is an old-school 20-pump RaceTrac. It's not one of the current model RT6K stores with stone columns and vaulted ceilings. That said, it's still clean and functional with a spacious parking lot and filling area. The street signage and pumps are worn out though - just take a look at my pictures. This location could use a facelift. 10, 15 years ago, I probably would've given this RaceTrac four stars. Today, with the newer and nicer Speedway and QuikTrip stores nearby, I can only give them three (which still isn't bad). read more

I was putting gas in my car when jets of gasoline started coming out of the broken hose, I spoke to the employee saying "did you know the hose is broken, I got soaked in gasoline" and she simply said "I didn't know" in a disinterested manner. As if it wasn't a big problem that they were dumping gasoline everywhere, they also charged me for what didn't go into my tank as if it were my fault. read more

This is a great RaceTrac! I stopped in for the cheap gas during COVID-19, and had to use the restrooms. The entire store and restrooms were spotless. I can tell that they are staying very clean. I was very glad that they had Dr Pepper Icees, they are the best! read more

The employees were excellent and very helpful. Store was very clean and organized. Food was always stocked up and managed.

I normally don't leave reviews for gas stations but the customer service there is amazing! Every time I go in there to buy cokes (I'm pregnant btw) the same manager always carries my cokes to the car! Everyone there is absolutely nice and they always greet you when you walk in! Very clean, excellent customer service, and they have the best coke/ Dr. Pepper icees!! Thank you guys!!! read more

This is consistently one of the busiest gas stations I have ever been to. As a result the floors may be dirty and the bathroom can be to. However the customer service is outstanding. The selection of energy drinks and coffee is the best in the area. If I had the time I would hang out here and people watch. read more

I LOVE this gas station!!! The location is right off of 400 (exit 12), and it is ALWAYS the cheapest gas. Cheaper than walmart...YES! Cheaper than costco...YES! Cheaper than Quick Trip....YES! It is THE CHEAPEST!!! I also think it might be cheaper because it falls just in Forsyth county and they have lesser taxes! The inside of this station is always so clean and they have tons of snacks and drinks. They always are busy, but the wait is never long. I love this place! read more

When you get the main thing right then you are at least a 4 star, but when you make everything convenient as well then you get the top rating. Gas prices are consistently $.15 - $.20 lower then most gas stations in 30004. They have plenty of snacks to choice from. At 2am on a Thursday morning, with minimum staff, the bathroom was well kept. read more

I am not one to usually write reviews about gas stations so this def says something that this place has something I like that stands out. And what stands out is the staff. They make me feel safe despite the crowd that visits (a lot of construction guys and zero if anything maybe one other woman- can get uncomfortable) and they treat me very well. The male cashier who helped me today was super nice to me. He saw I was strapped for cash that morning when I had to pay with change from my car (and I forgot my card in Rickys wallet lol) and gave me a coffee this morning on the house and said "don't worry about it, tomorrow." I really appreciated this. I have been coming here regularly since I moved up to Atlanta and after this, I plan on continuing being a regular due to the customer service. Oh, and it is great that I can always find parking, the wait to pay isn't that long, and the coffee (and cappuccino) is cheap, consistent, always piping hot and delicious. read more

FAREWELL! Dear Racetrac, I have enjoyed the convenience of having you here, so close to 400 and on route when I am traveling to the west side. Although you offer so much more than gas, I have only used you for gas, not for snacks, drinks or any other amenities. Why is that? Perhaps I just wanted something newer that caught my interest and enticed me to want to come in for a cold drink or a treat. Now that the new shiny Speedway has just opened across the street, I have decided to give her my attention. She's hot and she makes me want to stop in, have a drink and linger. I also like that she is located on the south side of the road so that when I am traveling east, I can have direct access. I know that it sounds pretty shallow to end things this way but I have to be honest and I don't want to have to "sneak around" so there it is. Take care and I wish you well. read more

I normally stop by every Sunday to grab a snack and a drink. Normally my experience here is great. However, today the young man at the register seemed to be polite with others but with me not so much. He didnt greet me nor did he make eye contact and when he gave me my change back he tossed it in my hand -literally (like i was contagious or something) lol. However, his co-worker she seemed to be very nice and friendly to her guest that she was waitng on at the time. I'm writing this review because I was actually surprise by the lack of friendliness today... Definitely not the service I'm use to by Race Trac. read more

Maybe I caught them on a bad day. If I ever get by here again I may update my review. However today I was not impressed at all. The floors were dirty, the ice was not working in 2 out of 3 ice dispensers, and on the one that was "working", it was dripping out water as well as ice. 3 of the fountain drinks I wanted to have were not calibrated properly. The bathroom was not as clean as I like and you have to wait for the bathroom since they basically make it a one man job with a lock on the door. We recently sold out home and are temporarily in an apartment just east of this race trac. We have always loved the variety and quality of the race trac on 141 by the Collection, but this one is horrendous!! Five times in now and not once has the tea been correct. It is never sweet and a family visitor stopped by, purchase a tea, arrived to our place and it has the appearance of green tea! How hard is it to brew good teas? Make it sweet if it's sweet And make sure that I has flavor!!! We are no longer going to shop there!!! read more

Customer service here is AWFUL. The employees here are quite rude, maybe it was just the "new" girl that works there (at least she seems like she has no idea what she is doing). On top of that, the employee that is working with her is playing her music in the background and it's not appropriate AT ALL. There are better gas stations with better service around here, I wouldn't bother with this one. read more

This is across the street from where I live. I stop sometimes and in general it's a good place. On the hand I've seen them let people go ahead of me in the cash register line, not sure why, maybe they knew them. I didn't like that at all! Also, one time the guy took my money for gas and didn't activate the pump. I went back and he acted like he never had seen me. read more

Visited this station on April 14, 2016 . I wanted a Yogurt. There was No smaller cups so I ask the young girl behind the register if someone could get some cups. She ask a young man to get some and he in turn told me to use the larger ones which I did after I got my yogurt I realize the bar was almost empty and some kids running around putting their hand in what was left of some of the condiments. I just put my yogurt down and walked out. Management should have a checkup on what's going on in this store. read more
