Paradies Lagardere, the owner of 850 airport bookstores across 98 airports in the U.S. and Canada, realized that many people get bored, there's nothing to do at an airport, and if you had only remembered, bring a good book. The Read and Return Program at airport bookstores began in 2003. Even if you're not someone who flies frequently and only travels twice a year, it's safe to say you can finish the book between layovers or before your next official flight. I mean you have at least six months to get your money back. Here's how the program works: Buy a book from any Paradies Lagardere bookstore at the full price. Return the book with the original receipt within six months to any Paradies Lagardere airport bookstore (there are at least 850 locations). Get 50% of your money back. One of the perks of returning a used book is that the store now can only sell that book at half price. Imagine walking into a bookstore and seeing books on a table for half the price. Their prepared food section was very large...selling sandwiches, charcuterie items, yogurts, refrigerated snacks, etc. They also had a section for inspirational reading books, which I have not seen very often. Their souvenir area was not as large as others but if you are only stopping in one place and this is it, it does have a variety of mugs, keychains, sweatshirts, t-shirts and such. So the cashier thought it was Ok to simply steal $.03 from me. I know 3 cents isn't much. it was the attitude.

No indication or error message - just zero response. So I pulled up to the next pump and gassed up - paid at the pump with a credit card. The pump then displayed a message that to retrieve the receipt - I needed to go inside to see the cashier. Which I did. I then decided to use the Men's Restroom. Big mistake. This place is foul. I had to hold my breath and choke back my gagging reflex - it smelled that bad. This is one of those places - that based on the condition of the restroom - the building needs to be condemned, torn down, and rebuilt from scratch, and then properly maintained. #OtterInc

I had a sausage, boiled egg and cheese grits all for under $4 bucks. AND the taste is just like homemade mommas breakfast. For real for real. Sometimes, a person may be skeptical about eating cooked food from a local gas station; however you won't be disappointed. Oh yes, and the customer service was good as well. The ladies were all in a good mood and shared their lovely smiles. Great way to start my work day off, with good food and warm smiles.
