It is conveniently located off of New Bern Ave and it is easy to get in and out of the gas station. I am always able to pull right in to a pump. They recently started playing videos at the pump which to me, it's a little loud for my liking because I like to hear and pay attention to what's going on around me. It may have just been that particular pump, I'm not exactly sure. At this location, I have never had to go inside for a receipt, their machines always have receipt paper. When I've gone inside, the store is always clean and properly stocked.

So I went inside to let them know and get a refund. While waiting in line I was surrounded by some customers and also a female employee who was off-duty and just "hanging out" with other people at the gas station loudly complaining to the other female cashier how annoying here customers were. So when it was my turn I explained that the vaccum machine was not working and that I'd like a refund. The cashier said that they don't give refunds and I should call the number on the machine for it. Since there was no number I asked her to give me her managers number. She told me that her manager would tell me the same. So I said that I wanted to talk to the manager anyways and politely asked again for the number. Then she yelled at me and gave me a receipt from a previous customer saying I should call the number on the top. I don't think that that is the the right thing to do, as some of the customers data was on it. At the same time the off-duty employee jumps in front of my face and not only asks me to leave but also starts insulting me. The entire situation did not feel safe to me at all as so many people where just hanging out there and the off-duty lady was visibly aggressive. A business needs to train their employees to deal with such situations. It wouldn't have been a problem at all if the cashier would have just apologized for the inconvenience caused. Given me her managers number and mentioned that they would put an out of order sign at the vacuum or contact somebody to fix it. I have also tried to call the manager a few times but nobody picks up the phone.

I have been a loyal customer with multiple memberships for my service vehicles, but that ends today. ​On Saturday, my 14kt white gold/1.5ct diamond wedding band came off while I was vacuuming my personal truck. I notified the manager immediately so they could retrieve it from the vacuum system. It is now Tuesday, and despite the high value of the item, I have not received a single follow-up call. ​Interestingly, they claim to have found a small earring in the system but "cannot find" a large white gold ring. It is highly suspicious that a small item was recovered while a significant piece of jewelry vanished. I am canceling all my business and personal memberships effective immediately and will be filing a police report to ensure the vacuum collection logs and surveillance are properly reviewed. They transferred me to 3 different people and one said a supervisor would look into available trucks because it was after hours but no one would get back to me before 10am. The owner informed that since he was out of town, despite me reserving the 26' box truck and trailer three weeks in advance, his Budget dealership was closed for the weekend and that I needed to call Budget customer service to rectify my reservation. We live in Garner and my wife dropped me off at 0800 at 3704 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610 on her way to work. I called Budget and spoke to two customer service representatives who informed me that their managers would have to review my situation and then call me back. Mind you, this address is in a horrible section of town and three bums hit me up for cash as I was walking around speaking to Budget. After an hour wasted and no Budget manager returning my calls, I paid $25 for an Uber to drive me home. The owner never apologized, never accepted responsibility, nor did anything to help me with my delimia. What was funny was that one of the owner's employees at the Shell gas station pulled the 26' truck up and had the truck ready to go for me to drive off, trailer and all. The employee said I was good - they already had my driver's license info and AMEX on file - once they spoke to their boss. I'm truly an easy person to get along with, but since I had less than 48 hours to move everything out of our 2500 sq ft home, time was against us. It took me four hours to find, rent, and pickup a 26' truck from Uhaul. Since my wife was at work and I had no vehicle, I had to pay for another Uber ride to Uhaul. The WORST customer service I have ever dealt with and will NEVER spend my money at Budget!!!!!

I only got gas, so this review doesn't include any interactions with staff in the store. When I pulled in, it was packed full of people getting gas. When I got to my pump, it was easy to scan my iPhone and pay. It was very convenient & I got my 3% back immediately. I like this payment method. The parking lot was clean even with all the people at the pumps. They could've emptied their trash cans thought because some of them were overflowing and attracting bees. Other than that, all was well. I'd definitely go back.
