The entire process took about a month due to rainy weather. My entire yard was trashed for that month. His workers were messy and used my flower pots as a trash, my outdoor furniture wasn't moved aside for projects and was covered with dust and dirt. They left their lunch in opened trash bags for my dogs to discover. My side trees were cut down 6ft without consultation and some of the cuts were not clean, but ripped off. I was constantly picking up screws, nails, paint chips and somehow they got paint in the dogs water bowl. Sloppy work, they dripped white paint on a black rug, and got paint on my back windows. They removed a piece of outside wood exposing the attic and did not cover it up until days later, after I had to notice it and call Bob. I'm not sure if this was a new crew or what, but there was no "care" taken in their work. I constantly had to call Bob for these problems, which was pretty lame because that was why I was paying him. Overall the repairs I needed done were done but I will not use this company for future house projects.

He provided me with a no-BS quote, hidden costs, told me exactly what to buy and it was incredibly reasonable pricing. Folks in the area quoted me DOUBLE what he charged, including big stores nearby. On installation day(s), Juvy and his team arrived early and got to work immediately. Work ethic was incredible. Team was super nice too. When they were done, they completely transformed the house. They even took the time to clean the floors thoroughly before they took off. They clearly take pride in their work! HIRE THEM. They will do an incredible job for an affordable price. True professionals.

Unfinished Work, Poor Craftsmanship, and a False Lien Threat…read more I hired Ybarra Professional Builders to complete work in my home, including renovating the upstairs bathroom. While the project was technically completed, the quality was completely unacceptable. The bathroom sink leaks, and the grout in both the shower and floor is already coming up. I brought in licensed professionals to inspect the issues, and they confirmed the floor was improperly installed and the sink was not installed correctly either. Despite these clear defects, the company has refused to return and fix the problems. To make matters worse, I just received a Notice of Intent to File a Mechanic's Lien claiming I owe them $16,016.00--which is outrageous and completely false. They included charges for services they never performed, such as: Cabinet resurfacing (they did nothing to my kitchen cabinets) Interior painting (they partially painted my living room, which I already paid for--and even that was incomplete) I've kept all of my receipts and documented what was paid. I paid for the bathroom remodel, but it was done poorly and without accountability. There is absolutely no way they did $16,000 worth of work in my home. This feels like a scare tactic to get paid for work they didn't do or didn't do correctly. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do not stand behind their work, and now I'm dealing with legal threats for charges that are clearly inflated and inaccurate. If you're considering using them--think twice and document everything. This experience has been stressful, costly, and incredibly disappointing.

I was approached by Ethan who was charismatic, personable and seemed to care about the project I was interested in. I wanted pavers on my driveway and a new concrete patio. Everything seemed to go well, perhaps taking a little longer than expected (but that was ok). The trouble started when the work was done. The ground settled and a tiny crack formed in the concrete. I contacted them in April to discuss the crack and puddling on the paver driveway. We got no response until May. Ethan finally said he would send someone to look at it. They came and within a couple of weeks two workers were here to fix the problems. Unfortunately, they made a bigger mess and eye sore than the original damage. I texted Ethan again with pictures of the "corrected" work and has since not heard from him or any representative from the Ybarra Professionals. I am very frustrated and disappointed that this happened. The only reason I am writing a public review is with the hope that Ybarra Professionals respond to my many calls and text messages.

His estimate was based mostly on labor and basic materials (he brought paint brushes, buckets and coverings). I supplied the paint and tape. The final paint-job was really good (clean lines, attention to detail around wood and moldings, even coats) and he worked all day to get it done. When he left the paint was drying so the tape was still up. We had to take tape down ourselves the next day, but not a big deal. Most importantly, he was gracious and kind throughout--even when we had to do some last minute cleaning up on high recesses. Given his rates and quality of work, he definitely earned the 5 stars. I will absolutely call him for our next job.

Upon arriving at my home, Wilfredo nor his team, who trickled in little by little over the next few hours, wore masks without our asking. Wilfredo gave me a laundry list of items his team would need to begin work, which I was to leave to get for him. He announced that he would go home and take a shower then return to begin the project. He returned and one of his team members blue-taped and put plastic over all my cabinets and paper over the floors in preparation for the repairs and painting that was to begin the next morning. The next day, I waited for a team member to arrive. When it got close to lunch time, I spoke with Wilfredo who told me that his team member wouldn't be able to come until that evening. Once he did arrive, he set to work repairing cracks and did a nice job only he didn't visit every room and repair every crack. He told me that he was leaving for dinner and would return but he did not come back. The following day, someone was to come and paint and I planned to ask for the forgotten cracks to be repaired. I was, again, told how the arranged team member wouldn't be by at the agreed upon time. We settled on the next day. By this point, I've had plastic and paper all over the place but I'm trying to be patient. The following day, Wilfredo again needed to cancel on the painting and my spouse and I decided that it was time to cut ties with this company and just finish the rest ourselves. When I told Wilfredo that we would not need any additional visits, he told me to "ask my husband for the final word" which truly pissed me off. I am the one who was making all the arrangements from start to finish with this company. For him to insinuate that I needed a man's permission to call off services was unprofessional and ignorant. He called and texted several more times to get me to reconsider. I'd have painted the entire interior of my home with a q-tip before I let him back through my doorway. Unprepared. Unprofessional. Unreliable.

He was also very flexible after we decided to add new cabinets to the project in the kitchen, wet bar, and half bath. His crew, led by Miguel, was excellent to work with and was basically at our house six days a week for a month. They were respectful of the disruption to our daily life and kept things as clean as possible. The job finished on time and on budget as well, something we've been told by friends is rare with these types of projects.
