The edges were trimmed around windows and trim and seam pressed evenly. The job was done at a reasonable speed and was done in a timely manner. Any remaining materials and waste were cleared and the room was made tidy and clean to be used.

The entire process took about a month due to rainy weather. My entire yard was trashed for that month. His workers were messy and used my flower pots as a trash, my outdoor furniture wasn't moved aside for projects and was covered with dust and dirt. They left their lunch in opened trash bags for my dogs to discover. My side trees were cut down 6ft without consultation and some of the cuts were not clean, but ripped off. I was constantly picking up screws, nails, paint chips and somehow they got paint in the dogs water bowl. Sloppy work, they dripped white paint on a black rug, and got paint on my back windows. They removed a piece of outside wood exposing the attic and did not cover it up until days later, after I had to notice it and call Bob. I'm not sure if this was a new crew or what, but there was no "care" taken in their work. I constantly had to call Bob for these problems, which was pretty lame because that was why I was paying him. Overall the repairs I needed done were done but I will not use this company for future house projects.

His bid was not the cheapest nor was it the most expensive, but we went with him because of his calm demeanor, professional presentation, and no high-pressure sale.  It was an extensive project, so we moved out of the house during the construction.  Since we were out of the house, we decided to take advantage of the opportunity. We ended up gutting almost the entire lower level. Essentially Gregory built a new house, we went from approximately 2500 ft.² to approximately 4500 ft.². The project was not without its challenges as every person will tell you that has ever had significant construction, there are always problems, the difference is in how the contractor handles adversity. This is where his calm demeanor came to be quite reassuring.  We did have quite a few issues with rain getting into the construction area. His team did major work to level our uneven floors, and install flooring and new baseboards throughout our house in 4 days. The crew was prompt, experienced, worked in a clean manner, and did a final cleaning after the floors were completely installed. We were so impressed with Luis' communication and oversight before, during, and after the project. He was always available when we called or texted, and he was on site every day as the project progressed. He kept us in the loop regarding additional materials that were needed and asked our opinion on stylistic choices on the baseboards. We felt he was very upfront, honest, and fair. We got 3 quotes for flooring installation. The pricing was fairly comparable between all 3, and LJ's was in the middle. My husband and I decided on the carpet. We called Steve & he came to our home to take measurements...and about two weeks later our carpet was installed. I am incredibly happy with the thorough, professional and excellent job done by the two carpet installers. they took very good care of the few pieces of furniture that I needed their help moving. They worked straight through, no breaks and finished in about 4-5 hours. They cleaned up, they vacuumed the area and made sure I looked at their work it before they left. The price we paid was very reasonable. It included taking the old carpet with them as well. Every person that I've encountered at the store is very kind, polite and professional. My only critique is I called the store on a Sunday to find out if our carpet had arrived, for installation on Wednesday. The person I spoke to said they would call me back on Monday to confirm. I did not get a call back. So I called on Tuesday to confirm that the carpet would be coming on Wednesday. The reason I wanted to confirm is it's a lot of prep work moving clothes out of closets, furniture and all of our stuff out of the way. And if for some reason the carpet was delayed that would help me with planning. Other than that, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back to this store for future needs.
