I selected this company for a wallpaper installation project in my home based on the reviews it had received. Contrary to the positive reviews, my experience was very disappointing. First, their bid was the highest I received to complete the project. I went with it based on their reviews, availability, and quote to first prime the walls with Roman primer. The installer who showed up to do the work was not the person I contracted with on the phone. The installer spoke no English making it very difficult to communicate. I asked the installer about the primer and received a blank look. During the installation, he applied a single coat of adhesive to the walls. Apparently they were not primed first. I anticipated the job would take the entire day based on the contracted price. He completed the job in just over three hours.. The installation was subpar in several areas with visible seams, bubbles, scratches and misalignment. I discussed my disappointment with the contractor. The installer returned to correct a couple of areas but it still looks shoddy. After only 10 days, the wallpaper is already pulling out from the wall in one area. I will likely now have to rip the wallpaper out and start all over. Extremely disappointing and distressing! read more

The 2 people who came did an excellent job. We had them paper a part of our kitchen, which they did well. But we also had them paper the dreaded hallway. This meant every possible paperable area of the downstairs hall, which included a lot of very thin spaces. But it was also all the way up the staircase to the 2nd floor. This was a huge, very irregular area, a polygon with about 8 sides. And it was a huge mural, specially ordered from Mind The Gap. They matched the rolls perfectly. We needed someone to install three different patterns/brands of self-adhesive wallpaper on three different walls. The original time we arranged was delayed a few hours but the two people who arrived were cordial and professional. They inquired our thoughts on a couple of difficult areas and were efficient in their installation. When they finished, we were very happy with the way the rooms looked. Self-adhesive wasn't the best choice, compared to traditional wallpaper, but they were gracious in installing, anyway. Perhaps the best part of the install was, there were no surprises with the labor quote. We had thorough conversations (prior to the install) about how our walls were prepped, the amount of wallpaper we had ordered, and the brand/patterns so we knew exactly what to expect. Very disappointed. The wallpaper started to peel about an hour after Alex left. I contacted Alex, and he said he would come back. He could not come back that day, and by the next morning, all the paper had peeled to the floor. I contacted Alex again and asked him to come back. He told me he would be over by 11 am that day; when I had not heard from Alex by 3:30 pm, I contacted him again. He finally replied and told me it was a manufacturing issue, and I needed to contact the manufacturer; he told me it would require a different glue and cost $250 more. I told Alex I did not know anything about wallpaper, so I hired a professional to assess the situation and complete the job correctly the first time. I asked Alex to refund the payment since the job was not done correctly, and I took off work and waited for him for 4 hours, and he never showed up. Alex refused. My last communication asked for at least half the money back, to which I have yet to receive a response. The communication was always polite, but the issue was unresolved. I am very disappointed in the service and that he just ghosted. read more

So we tried hiring 2 different companies for our wallpaper and they were both no shows. Then finally i found Alex. He asked for pics and then called me to explain the wallpaper i had and said him and his team had a lot of experience with it. After the 2 no shows i tried doing it myself and then realized i was in trouble so i took it down. Then called him and he sent two lady's who came and asserted the situation (i had to use a piece of the used wallpaper to fill the wall because i didn't have enough) then they used a piece of the old one and continued with my new packs. Installed peel and stick wall decor in our nursery and did an amazing job! Actually put a skim coat since the wall was textured to smooth it out. Then they applied glue to ensure it stays without annoying air bubbles or peeling. We couldn't be happier with the result! I had the WORST experience with this company. I reached out, and a man named Gary responded to me. Over text, he scheduled it and said that it would be a two day job: day 1 to float and sand, day 2 to hang the paper. They sent out a different guy to do the work and was done in about 4 hours. There was glue all over the wall, bubbles in the paper, texture showing through the paper, and the strips weren't lined up. I reached out to them no less that 20 times to come back and fix it, and Gary stopped responding to me. I'm going to have to get someone to fix it, order more paper, and pay for the labor again. DO NOT use this company. It's not as it seems. read more
