Such a cool spot - first we were the only ones there and it was not busy at all! I used the GPS points from the site to find the place and you have to exit pretty quickly. We filled up our water jugs and checked out all the cool fountain structures! These were made by the guy Elmer and I think that is just awesome. Explore out local springs! if you hike a little ways there is a spring with a waterfall!

There was another bartender who I assume was the lead and she was very knowledgeable and sweet. He closed out. Then asked for a beer on his tab. After being obliged, both requests he then asked for another beer and shot. And he got them. Now I am not judging. I'm describing. I wish it could've been 1/3 drunk as he was but had to deal with one unbelievably bad choice I made on draft. I also was able to purchase a silver belt buckle, which was the exact same price on Amazon. I'm glad that I purchased it there. The counter help were young, and they were extremely courteous and pleasant. If you're going east or west on I 90 I suggest you stop by. I wish I had time to try their food. It looked pretty great. The marker reads, "More than 3,000,000 acres of timber in this area burned during an exceptionally dry summer in 1910. A gigantic fire storm on August 20 did unprecedented damage. Skies in Montreal and London were blackened by its smoke, which interfered with North Atlantic navigation. Strenuous efforts saved most of Wallace from its flames, but 85 fire fighters were lost, mostly in other areas. Edward Pulaski's heroic measures to save his crew in a nearby mine tunnel have become a forest legend recounted in Wallace's mining museum at 509 Bank Street."
