We had planned to stay for four nights, but after arriving, we quickly decided to leave. When we checked in, Peter greeted us politely and handed us an envelope with our campsite information. I knew the campground was close to the highway, but I was hoping the campsites themselves would be pleasant. Unfortunately, our assigned site was far too narrow to be comfortable. As I pulled in, the campers next to us were struggling to empty their black tank and were using a water hose to wash away the mess. Before I even got out of my truck, the smell of sewage was overwhelming. We drove back toward the entrance and stopped to discuss whether we should stay. A man approached us and asked what the problem was. I assumed he was an employee, so I explained that the campsite was too small. He replied, "Is the real problem the people next to you?" I said that was certainly a concern. He then walked away, and we decided to leave. The next day, I called the campground and spoke with Peter again. He told me that the man who approached us was actually a former employee who had been fired several weeks earlier but still lives on the property. That only added to our concerns. Overall, the campground felt more like a dilapidated trailer park than a campground. Peter acknowledged that he understood my concerns about the sewage situation. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be charged since we left immediately, but he said there was nothing he could do and suggested I contact the owners in California. I emailed the company but never received a response. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this campground. If you're looking for an enjoyable camping trip, I suggest staying somewhere else.

A lot of people got married that met at their home. The Campbell's only had one daughter Helen. Very interesting and the docents all of them were fantastic, explaining all about each room. Campbell House is a really interesting historic tourist place in Spokane. I did a self-guided tour and still learned a lot about the Campbell family, the stories behind the house, and how locals helped restore it. The house feels like stepping back into the early 1900s, with so much attention to detail in the furniture and decor. Every room has something to notice. I kept taking photos everywhere because it's honestly so beautiful, I just can't stop. If you're in Spokane, this is one of those places you shouldn't miss. Highly recommend especially if you love history or want to entertain your family/friends while you're here.

The kitchen, dining room, living room, and a lot of his awards are available to be viewed. They did have a few books, cd's, dvd's, coasters, and a mini record available for purchase. I'm glad I stopped in since it was near my hotel and on the campus and I wanted to stop in the Zags store for a T-shirt as well. Everything is very close together, which was nice.

When I mentioned it to my daughter they knew exactly what I was talking about and so we went to take a look at it. I love this unique addition to their downtown area which allows you to throw away rubbish via the garbage goat. You simply walk up to the goat, press the button to get it started and it you feed the goat. Your trash and the vacuum inside sucks it up through the mouth. This was a real cool experience even though it's simple. Boy was still an experienced to remember. Also, there is a carousel nearby that provides you with goat food as well which I thought was adorable.
