I've been bringing my dogs to Murrayville Vet for at least 15 years. Unfortunately, it has changed. There is now an emphasis on upselling services along with numerous e-mails about other things (such as dog food and vitamins) that are available for sale. The staff is great, but the new emphasis on business and selling is a bad image. We will find a new vet. read more

I don't recommend this veterinary clinic anymore. Since it changed hands my dogs have suffered greatly. They keep getting ear infections and skin rashes caused from yeast. They didn't tell me this another vet did. They haven't given me anything that can help prevent this from recurring and treating the true issues. They just treat the symptoms. They take my money, send me home with ear drops and antibiotics only for them to have reoccurring infections and they don't do follow ups to make sure your pet is getting better without charging you again for an extremely high price. I spent over a 1000 dollars last time I went and several hundred a couple of weeks prior. Still their ear infections are active and they said they had to see them again before they could do anything more and how much it could cost outside of any medication they might prescribe. My dogs are in pain and I'm on a budget bc I'm disabled and I can physically keep bringing them in every couple of weeks and paying these prices too. They don't seem to care about the animals just the money and are very rude about anything that you bring up on the cost or break downs of the cost. Bc vets have become extremely expensive, you can't afford a pet these days. read more

Worst place I've ever been too will never return. Staff was in a rush to get out and rushed me my whole visit. Went to check out and everyone was up there with bags and most lights were turned off. I was also charged for something I did not authorize. read more

The staff was very professional. The Vet was proficient at finding out what was wrong with my dog's eye and then giving a couple treatments over 2 months time to get it cleared up. The prices are reasonable compared to other Vets in our area. We plan to continue to use this Vet office for our animals. We are appreciative of this Vet clinic. read more

We have been coming to this place for years they took care of our senior dogs until their last days on this earth and our furbabies who still bless us with their presence now. The staff and doctors always are SUPER nice and care for your babies like their own. Moving to Oregon I haven't found a place that comes close to them but when I'm into town I still come for a check up on for my babies. Our experience here was mediocre to say the least. I wouldn't be leaving this review if we hadn't tried and tried to get it resolved but I feel others should know. Let me start by saying the workers are wonderful with our dog. Very kind and sweet but the professionalism is lacking. We took our dog for an annual check up and were told she had a broken tooth. No problem- we will make an appointment. I call to make an appointment and the doctor did not write it down in the notes- no problem! I take my dog for a second evaluation which they did not charge for (and they shouldn't have given it was their mistake). I am then told at the appointment that the February surgery schedule was not released so someone would follow up with me. I call a week later because I haven't heard anything and apparently in a week every spot is full for February and so I make an appointment for March. The Friday before I am planning to take my dog to get her tooth extracted I get a text the machine is broken. At this point this is ridiculous and we will be going elsewhere meanwhile my poor dog has had a broken tooth for 3 months because her vet couldn't get it together. Turns out they have the most expensive prices in town after some calls. I guess you're just a number at this vet- we will not be returning. read more

Took our deaf dog in to get spayed, dew claws removed and chip installed all in one shot. We were very happy with the results and after care. all the staff from vets to techs were very professional and caring. We have had many dogs over the years and recently moved to the area. Murrayville vet clinic was highly recommended so we thought we would give them a try. We were not disappointed. I highly recommend them. read more

Love Murrayville Vet! My furbaby absolutely loves Dr. Buckallew. I've never seen him wagging his tail while at the vet any other time except when he sees Dr. B walking towards him. I used to LOVEEEEEEEEEEE This vet! like 5 stars all the way but the past couple times I have called for things its been so interesting the answers. Today was the most odd. I called to schedule a spay. I was told they are short staffed and are 4 months out. I said ok just schedule me in 4 months, I was then told that waiting list is just to be called in 4 months. This place is a joke. They treat you like a number and not actual animals or people for that matter. Always rude staff, and never enough of it to accommodate even urgent care animals. I have taken my animals to Murrayville Vet for over 10 years. Dr. White is the heartbeat of this place. She is a sister to me. Everyone at this place has been great. My animals are well cared for. We have had Dr. White put down some of our animals. Only when their death was imminent and their suffering was unbearable. They have mourned with us. What more could anyone ask for? read more

The doctors/nurses/assistants are great here. Front desk staff could be a little more friendly but I won't decrease rating just for that. Taken my dog here for injuries and recently, to be spayed. Was very pleased with her care and treatment. They all truly loved on her and cared for her like she was their own pet. Prices are not outrageous for spaying, annual shots, etc. They also helped us find a website to purchase flea meds at a cheaper rate (1800 Pet Meds - better price, fast shipping, and they send a treat for the pet). They are very quick to respond to emails and even allowed us to pick up medication after the clinic closed. I would highly recommend this place for your pet's care! read more

This clinic is worth way more than five stars, but since that's the most I can give, I'll do that. I took my six year old cocker spaniel there for the first time today to get groomed. They acted like I was an old friend from the minute I walked through the door. Brenda, the groomer, came out and sat down and talked to me about Beau, what he's like, etcetera, and I was able to share my concerns with her that he is really scared of grooming (had a bad experience with grooming awhile back) and that he always need to be sedated (which I really do not want him to have to have). She said she would see how he did and try not to sedate but if she had to, she would. I was cool with that. Turns out, she did not have to sedate him at all! (Even if she ever does have to, I won't be upset because I see that she is really good at doing what is best for the dog.) She did a beautiful job grooming him. He looks great! The price was great, the staff were all really nice, and I loved the look of the place. It's super clean, really cute, and just feels like you're going over to visit family...really down to earth and peaceful. The animals I saw there in the waiting room didn't seem to be stressed. Beau was cool. I love the personalized scarf they gave him too. If you are looking for a vet, a groomer, or both, you've gotta go to Murrayville Vet Clinic! I'll never go anywhere else. I've been searching for a long time and I've finally just found my way home. (In the parking lot, a guy told me that he drives all the way from Cleveland, Ga, to come to the clinic!). read more
