Not only is he an outstanding Neurosurgeon, but he is a caring and ethical man. Faced with a frightening spinal surgery, I saw Dr. Sheldon for another opinion. After the most thorough exam I ever had, Dr. Sheldon took the time to review my MRI and X-rays with me. He actually explained what I was looking at on the MRI. After discussing my concerns and fears about having the surgery, he persuaded me to try alternative treatments. He corroborated the serious nature of the surgery and the risks involved and told me honestly that I should not rush into this. I found that extremely impressive, since he operates for a living. I would recommend Dr. Sheldon to anyone with a spinal or brain issue. This is when you really need a doctor who is more interested in the welfare of their patient versus the financial reward.

He did my spinal fusion in two parts which kept me out of commission for many many months. I'm honestly not sure if I even needed it. All my original symptoms are still there but what's worse is I now have peripheral neuropathy in my foot that's never resolved, only worsened, making it difficult to impossible to walk on some days. But what's worse is that he completely checked out after my second surgery. No follow up, no answers, no returned phone calls. My pt tried getting instruction from him over and over and he never called her back. So my after care was a mess. Dr. Laich, I'm sorry they fired your assistant after you guys got married, but you still had a job to do. And I really wish he hadn't told me he took his own samples of Lyrica and rode his motorcycle to work. Really put me off.

They never have any…read moreappointments available for when you are sick, they have crazy long wait times on the phone, some of their receptionists are rude and they cancel appointments without notifying you. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they had already done this to me once. I thought that it was most likely a mistake but it happened to me again. Plus not so long ago I went to see one of the providers and I was informed I had a condition that they noticed from blood work of last year. I had gone many times prior to that appointment and no one told me anything. over all I don't recommend them please seek healthcare else where.
