We kept the doctor updated regarding the medication's success. But after my the prescription ran out and five phone calls requesting a refill and explaining that we' had had a terrible financial year and a huge deductible, Ewing refused to call in more medication. She insisted that we scheduled another appointment and we had to wait 3 months because she is booked up. My daughter's acne returned with a vengeance while we waited to see the doctor. Then I had to pay $200 to sit in her office so she could hand me the RX I had requested months earlier. This is why health care reform is so critical. Dr Ewing gets the cash and we get screwed.

It's hard to be bummed out about your diagnosis when Dr. Wynn is working with you! He is very positive and teaches patients that your life is what you make of it. If you look on the bright side and have humor, you can survive anything! His trusty sidekick, Nurse Cathy Meyer, is also such a warm, sweet person. You can tell that they both really care about helping their patients have a better quality of life both physically and mentally (read -a great, positive attitude). The woman on the phone was so unprofessional, saying things like "it's funny how patients call back after all this time to try to refute a charge" and "you're just one of those people who doesn't want to pay." I had called to ask for a breakdown of what I was being charged for. I received a $180 bill for going into their office and talking to the doctor for less than 5 minutes. No tests done or anything. Haven't been back since then and I received another $280 bill for who knows what? Also very inconvenient - their business number is just someone's cell phone and they will have you playing phone tag just to make an appointment. Instead of yelling at your patients when they're unhappy or confused, maybe you should try listening and fixing your attitudes.

The world needs more doctors like her. She has my cholesterol, and heart in good health now. My past doctor dismissed my EPI as an anxiety issue and prescribed me some nervous disorder drug. When I told him that wasn't the problem, I still went through with the treatment, and I wasted a long time trying to get my EPI under control. My past doctor would not even send me to a GI. I feel like my past doctor was working for the insurance company and didn't want to order any extra tests. Long story short, I got a referral to an excellent GI doctor Who ordered a battery of tests and we finally figured out that I had EPI which was easy to control with pancreatic enzymes namely Creon. As far as the staff everybody has been kind and courteous including the receptionists, phlebotomist, and the ultrasound technician.

During my annual physical, I felt that the care provided fell significantly below the expected standard. While annual physical is supposed to be a comprehensive review of my physical health, she rushed it through in less than 10 minutes, largely checking the boxes and lack of care at all. What is worse is her abusive billing practice afterwards. I was diagnosed with an early-stage chronical disease in the past that did not require treatment. During this visit, she proactively asked about it and I immediately stopped her by saying we don't need to talk about it. Still, she billed me for an additional office visit on top of the annual physical. Just like that, no treatment, no prescription, her asking me a question and my stopping her right away, she charged me an extra office visit! Outrageous! If you are looking for a new doctor or an existing patient going back to see her, watch out closely for her billing!

They don't even know which insurance plans they accept--every one of our claims was incorrectly filed as out-of-network when they were actually in-network. Fixing this has been a major hassle, and despite multiple messages asking for the billing manager to call us back, no one has returned our calls. Instead, we were told that the doctor's wife handles billing, but no one knows when she comes in. We are now receiving final bill notices, yet the office has locked us out of the patient portal due to non-payment, making it impossible to access our records or communicate through that system. When my wife asked how she could reach her doctor or someone who could help, she was told to use the portal--the very one we had been locked out of. All we are trying to do is get them to resubmit these claims correctly as in-network so we can pay the bill and move on. That's it. And yet, we're met with roadblock after roadblock. To top it off, they advertise themselves as a concierge practice, which is laughable. Concierge medicine is supposed to provide premium care, personalized attention, and easy access to the physician and staff. Here, they don't even answer the phone over lunch. Why not stagger lunch breaks like any other service-oriented business instead of shutting down entirely? The final straw was when my wife--who is battling stage 4 cancer--called for the third time to resolve this, only to be scolded for trying to fix a 2024 billing issue in 2025. Unfortunately, we had more pressing matters last year. We're done. As soon as this gets resolved, we'll be finding a new doctor. If you're considering this practice, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
