Adam Packer is a super nice guy. He was involved in every step of the move and maintained a cheerful attitude throughout which made a stressful 2 days much easier to handle. After filling out a claim form for the damaged items, we were informed that none of our things were covered by the insurance we paid for because we packed our own boxes. This was NEVER disclosed to us. In fact, we were told that we were "saving a couple thousand dollars by packing our own things". So we basically paid for insurance for nothing. Customer service after the move was horrible, and we were finally sent a letter and a check for $200...which doesn't come close to covering our damages. TERRIBLE.

The two young men, who are volunteer firefighters, getting paid about $42 each for 2 hours. Since we had lots of boxes packed, most were donations from downsizing to move. I was very specific that they were to be given to a charity. My favorite charity may have been closed but there is at least one more on the way. I was told no one would take the donations so they don't know what happened to all the nice stuff. I offered them anything they might have wanted but they said no but in order to do this, we HAVE TO RENT A U-HAUL! i GAVE THE YOUNG MEN $300 IN CASH AND THEN THE OWNER, CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD $467 MORE DOLLARS FOR THE RENTAL U-HAUL! He does not have a truck for moving, but simply for his tools. Do NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH HIM BY PHONE. MAKE HIM GIVE YOU EVERYTHING IN WRITING - IT IS THE ONLY WAS I WAS REFUNDED THE $467 ON MY CREDIT CARD. SAD!

We initially called Blue N White Carpet Care because our carpet needed cleaned (a cat and dog), but we were pleased to see they also do minor carpet repair. They came to our home and determined that the carpet had never been properly stretched when it was first installed. They were able to stretch our living room carpet with a power stretcher and then cleaned the carpeting in the entire house. The carpet looks awesome again ! They were quick, professional and reasonable with their prices. We plan to use them anytime our carpets need cleaned.
