Everything was smoothly until I almost finished the appointment there. The physiotherapist Jamie…read moretold me that the initial charge was wrong, that I was a visitor in Whistler, it should be charged additional $ 20 CAD. No body asked those info during my checking. So I am highly doubt there is such a policy there. The other reason that she decided to charge me more could be she felt she took care of two things at one visit, epicondylitis and plantar fasciitis. In reality, I told her the diagnosis. She spent 2 minutes on my feet. If you want to go there, really be careful about the random questions during the visit, as they can use it as a proof of additional charge. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

They saw me despite being fully booked for the evening, did a few checks and predicted one of two types of injuries and recommendation to visit the ER the following morning when it will be less crowded. They equipped me with an amazing quality brace, and lent me crutches. The following morning one of their diagnosis was confirmed via X-ray at the ER. I really appreciate their willingness to see me and offer guidance. We were so impressed by their knowledge and service that my husband set an appt for a nagging injury he'd been nursing for months. They did fantastically with him too the next day, putting him on a much better path to recovery. If you need help for your broken body, go to Peak Performance.

Lots of plunge, pools, different temps - you are to do hot, cold, relax, repeat. And several little cozy atmospheres to pick from. Definitely going again if I get to Canada again.

The walkway was not very well cleaned of snow and for us golden Agers this wasn't a good thing. You check-in after walking a couple hundred yards from where you park, less if you're dropped off at the turnaround. One area going slightly downhill could use a railing for snowy rainy days. You are checked in and given two towels and a rope and a key to a locker. You need to bring a swimsuit and sandals. After changing you are than led to a room for an hour massage. I had asked for a Deep message and what I got was far from that. Very disappointing!!! My wife had the same experience. Next you shower and go to the different outside areas. I started with the cold pool then the hot pool. Next the sauna on to the Eucalyptus room and the Relaxation Solarium. It's a beautiful property and they stress QUITE! The one pool with a waterfall was closed for maintenance. I like the Eucalyptus Room and Solarium the best. After showering, we had a very good lunch. The overall experience was really spoiled by the poor massages!

I had already had Cranial Sacral Massage massage and traditional deep tissue massages in seattle prior to our trip but neither offered enough relief. Our check in receptionist recommended Whistler Integrative Wellness when we asked her about a well regarded bodywork spot, and I am SO glad we took her recommendation. I saw Nick Wittenberg for an Osteopathic appointment (which I had never experienced in the states) and had almost complete relief after the appointment. Thank you so much, Nick! I only wish I could continue going here for care. Definitely a 5 Star experience!

Preamble: i'm deftly afraid of needles - as a child i had to be restrained for a blood draw,…read moresecondly i was raised in the 80's in an eastern european family - something like acupuncture was considered as good as snake oil. The story: may 14, 2018 i suffered a horrible ski crash severely damaging my C5-7 nerves from spine to fingertips of my left arm rendering it as sturdy as a flailing empty garbage bag - no electrical signal whatsoever. By November my atrophy started reducing in my arm but the entire shoulder blade area was still unresponsive - my scapula winged so much my shirt would get stuck pulling it off. The only thing i had going for me was the perseverance to heal. So i decided to try acupuncture, i was willing to try anything. During my first session with Chris my shoulder blade area twitched for the first time. Over the next days the area kept 'fluttering awake.' i decided to keep seeing Chris weekly and it made all the difference - in january my healing progressed so much that my physio was giving me exercises he hadn't planned on assigning me until spring. Furthermore, he assigned me 10 new exercises because of my progress (up from 3-4/month since the crash). At this time my neurologist was forecasting a year until full recovery. It is now the second week of may and i have full mobility and am transitioning this month to traditional gym exercises and swimming laps. I'm now just rebuilding muscle lost to many months of atrophy. Chris is a true passionate healer! What makes him different is his approach - no bullshit, explanations in layman's terms, eagerness to help and inform and lastly he is constantly researching and staying on top of the tech/discoveries in his field (it was actually the laser therapy that 'popped the cork') and relaying the info to the patient. O ya, lastly, Chris needled the shit out of me and not once did i even flutter with anxiety.
