A beautiful, clean and relaxing spa experience nestled in a forest with a mountain overview. We had a couples massage which was one of the best massages I have ever had. The therapists knew their stuff and knew how to get at problem areas. Usually spa massages are just okay - this one was worth it. The spa reminded me of places in Iceland - lots of areas to take on different hot and cold therapies and relax in between. It was great to have a silent and digital detox rule to not hear everyone else's conversations. We went on a sunny day which made the hot areas a bit too hot for my personal taste, and nervous about sunscreen sweating off - but I'm not about to complain about being outside in a beautiful area with mountain views. Also very reasonably priced given the quality of the experience.

This spa is gorgeous, a very beautiful retreat and escape from tech/noise. We had a lovely visit. All of the pool/sauna/steam facilities are clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the lockers, locker room, and showers felt a bit sad and dilapidated, which left you a little nervous upon arriving, but, in the end, you can't beat sitting in a hot tub in the snow.

I am blown away by my experience at the Scandinave Spa! The entire experience was INCREDIBLE! The property itself is beautiful and I feel like it was a dream! Disclosure! THIS IS A SILENT SPA (shhhhh) The message was phenomenal! Sitting in a hot tub surrounded by snow and trees is something everyone should experience! The relaxation rooms are absolutely stunning! The little interactions with check in, my massage therapist, and the cafe was all very cheerful! 10/10 recommend

I had such a wonderful, relaxing day at this spa. The front desk staff gave a clear and friendly explanation of how everything works -- starting with the hot feature, then the cold plunge, followed by 30 minutes of relaxation. The bistro staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming and made me a yummy French vanilla latte to warm me up on this rainy day. My massage with Dimitri was the highlight -- he has truly perfected the art of massage, was very professional, and worked hard to ensure I left feeling amazing. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to unwind and recharge for the day!

Beautifully designed amenities and layout, in a very tranquil setting. Love the cascading waterfalls in both the hot and cold plunge pools. We came on a busy holiday weekend, and I was impressed at the turnaround cleaning times with such a high volume of people. Most everyone was very respectful of the no talking rules, which made it feel even more relaxing, and like there were far fewer people there than in reality. Dmitry is a excellent massuese! He found trouble areas and gave suggestions on how to regularly treat and care for them. He was very attentive, focused, and consistent, and is a wealth of knowledge about muscle and joint anatomy and interconnections.

It was a perfect activity for a rainy day in Whistler. This place is so beautiful, and impeccably clean. You go through a thermal journey of really hot pools followed by cold pools, relaxation rooms, eucalyptus infused steam room, couple different dry saunas, outdoor fire pits, and the best of all Is that is technology "free" and you have to be in absolute silence. Your admission includes a rope, two towels in all the toiletries you need after your thermal experience. They also have a wonderful little café with coffee, pastries, and sandwiches.

The view from the café. Trying to capture the various outdoor areas but it's hard with all the greenery

My review mimics my previous review. We come here once a year and have been for 10 years. The experience is always great with staff being very friendly and the premises being very clean. I love that the outdoor spot area is silent so you can completely relax

My first time going to for the Scandinave Spa and I can't wait to go again!! Went there on a Sunday afternoon, it was busy but you still had enough space to do most things. I would say if you plan on going during peak season, it might be a good idea to get a reservation for their Thermal Journey because their walk-ins get busy. I reserved mind a week before. They also a RMT massage but you have to book that way in advance because the slots get booked up pretty quickly. This spa is a digital detox so no phone allowed inside, which I think is amazing! It is a haven of silence as they call it. You have 3 hot tubs, 3 cold plunge pools, sauna, steam rooms, fire place, and the best are their relaxation rooms. You also have hammocks which are super cozy and a good place to relax. It is an experience that everyone needs to have at least once! They also had a small cafe in the spa, it is a bit pricey but I found their food pretty good. I got their maple bacon croissant and pesto cheese pocket. Both were amazing! Can't wait to go again and try their RMT massages :)

Absolutely beautiful spa. I would recommend bringing a book for the day since there is a no phone policy. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

The view over the property from the bistro. So stunnjng

As everyone said, this is a spectacular spa. I don't think anything comes close to it within a 100 mile radius if not more. However the prices have gotten incredibly pricey. It was $305 tax included for an RMT massage with spa access during shoulder season. I went on a rainy Friday and it was packed. The steam rooms and saunas had JUST enough space. The hot tubs were crowded, I often had to share a nook with another group. It almost felt like a silent adult amusement park. Thought the RMT said it was very quiet the day before. The local deal during shoulder season is worth it. It's $270 plus tax for unlimited use.

So I am highly doubt there is such a policy there. The other reason that she decided to charge me more could be she felt she took care of two things at one visit, epicondylitis and plantar fasciitis. In reality, I told her the diagnosis. She spent 2 minutes on my feet. If you want to go there, really be careful about the random questions during the visit, as they can use it as a proof of additional charge. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

They saw me despite being fully booked for the evening, did a few checks and predicted one of two types of injuries and recommendation to visit the ER the following morning when it will be less crowded. They equipped me with an amazing quality brace, and lent me crutches. The following morning one of their diagnosis was confirmed via X-ray at the ER. I really appreciate their willingness to see me and offer guidance. We were so impressed by their knowledge and service that my husband set an appt for a nagging injury he'd been nursing for months. Booing is easy through the Mindybody app and classes are reasonably priced at around $20 US for a 75 minute class. We did the Vinyasa class. It's a small studio with village views and class sizes are limited . We had 10 people in our class. Everything is already laid out rest to go - Mats and blankets and props are encouraged. The class was very good. The teacher asked beforehand if there was anything she needed to know before class which is important when teaching new students and her practice was very good, taught very well and very safe. In the years since I have been here, I became a yoga teacher with two credentials and it has given me more insight into practice and instruction- and I have realized that many cues are often not the safest such as pigeon but this instructor was great and very well versed in sage alignment. The only thing I don't love and I have noticed it on both visits as well as my daughter picking up on the vibe, is that it does not have a warm or friendly vibe. I cannot pin point it but it does not encourage me to come back - but maybe it's because it's a class full of strangers due to this being a tourist spot . Small point as the studio and instruction is great. I felt much better after the class and ready for another hike !

Unfortuatnely a couple days later I tested positive for Covid. I wrote Emily, the business owner, with a screen shot of the google listing. She implied that I was faking it and trying to get out of the class with a loophole and said, "No, we did not get your voicemail and I do not recognize that number. I've been in touch with Google to see what happened. We don't take voicemail at this time." Then she berated me for harassing her employee. Follow up from Emily: "I've processed a refund to your credit card, upon your demands, in the hopes that you do not return to the studio."

The story: may 14, 2018 i suffered a horrible ski crash severely damaging my C5-7 nerves from spine to fingertips of my left arm rendering it as sturdy as a flailing empty garbage bag - no electrical signal whatsoever. By November my atrophy started reducing in my arm but the entire shoulder blade area was still unresponsive - my scapula winged so much my shirt would get stuck pulling it off. The only thing i had going for me was the perseverance to heal. So i decided to try acupuncture, i was willing to try anything. During my first session with Chris my shoulder blade area twitched for the first time. Over the next days the area kept 'fluttering awake.' i decided to keep seeing Chris weekly and it made all the difference - in january my healing progressed so much that my physio was giving me exercises he hadn't planned on assigning me until spring. Furthermore, he assigned me 10 new exercises because of my progress (up from 3-4/month since the crash). At this time my neurologist was forecasting a year until full recovery. It is now the second week of may and i have full mobility and am transitioning this month to traditional gym exercises and swimming laps. I'm now just rebuilding muscle lost to many months of atrophy. Chris is a true passionate healer! What makes him different is his approach - no bullshit, explanations in layman's terms, eagerness to help and inform and lastly he is constantly researching and staying on top of the tech/discoveries in his field (it was actually the laser therapy that 'popped the cork') and relaying the info to the patient. O ya, lastly, Chris needled the shit out of me and not once did i even flutter with anxiety.
