This is a great spot to do something new (albeit - not the cheapest activity in the DMV if you are price-sensitive). Decided to do this with co-workers, and honestly, we all had a great time. We all had various skill levels when it came to painting, but we all enjoyed ourselves. Our instructor was also very helpful - guiding us through the different steps of completing our portraits and encouraging us along the way. There were also food and wine options. I wouldn't say they're the best ever, but it hit good. Especially drinking wine and painting. I would highly recommend checking out this place next time you want to do something new :)

we went to the Arlington location! Literally so fun! There's an instructor walking u step by step for how to paint the painting, you can order drinks and it was honestly so fun! My Bf and I held off looking at each others till we finished which was hilarious! Totally recommend, we've done 3 of these now and love them! Great date or group activity!

I had fun!! First, I actually really liked the food! We had amazing fries, celery, pepperoni pizza (with hot honey), etc. pretty good for a painting place. I also liked the wines. I like how they have a lot of paintings you can choose from. That's so nice! They teach you how to paint the paintings and they are nice and encouraging. Also, they had a foot setup. Enough brushes, enough paint, water, paper towels, etc. They also have a big back room for private parties, with its own bathroom.

My coworkers and I had the best time at Muse Paintbar on 2/28/23. The staff were Awesome! None of us had done a Paint & Sip since the pandemic, so it was truly nice to enjoy a Girls Night out on the town. The artist/instructor was super fun. Can't wait to return.

I have been looking for a paint & sip class in the DMV/DC/NoVa area forever! I had such a great time here with my friend. We signed up about 4-5 days in advance for the class we wanted. Most classes are $35, but can vary $25-$45 depending on the class. You can request to be sat with your party if you are going with friends, this makes it very easy. Everyone has paint & brushes set up at each station when you arrive. I recommend arriving 15 minutes early to the class so you can get acclimated and get a drink if you want. There are aprons as well so you don't need to bring anything! The entrance is located in the open air space of the mall, "outside". It is next to the back entrance of the CVS, and about 75 feet from BASH fitness. The staff is so friendly, you don't need to have any art experience, they walk you through the painting step by step, with an instructor at the front, and other staff members to walk around during the class. 2 hours flew by and it was tons of fun. I will definitely be taking more classes.

This was such a fun date spot! The instructors are informative and give clear, helpful instructions so that even the least artistic people can create beautiful paintings! They set up and clean up everything for you as well, which is really convenient. My boyfriend and I did the Valentine's Day paint and sip, and I thought our paintings came out great, especially considering that I am not artistic at all. Highly recommend for a date night or group of friends to hang out and do some painting!

An all around great painting experience. Had such a fun date night at Muse Paintbar this week! I would highly recommend looking at their event calendar and signing up for a class asap. There are great teachers, fun music, delicious food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)! Rachael was a very informative and easy to understand instructor. The music playlist had me singing and dancing at my seat for the entire painting session. I had the chicken and waffles and it was exactly what I was craving. The fried chicken was well seasoned and the Belgium waffles had just the right amount of sugar crystals. They have a wide selection of beverages. I will definitely return and try to plan a private event here in the future.

This was a super fun time! I knocked one star off for two reasons: 1. SUPER difficult to find this location. The area needs to establish signs. I was walking around Ballston Quarter like a lost kid, and the thing that saved my ass was another Yelp review explaining where to go! So thank you, fellow reviewer. If anyone is reading this and needs help: Go past the massive restaurant True Food, and don't go down the escalators to the food court (like I did at first), but go AROUND that, then through the doors to this lobby area. Go to the left, past Capital One, and through double sliding doors. It'll take you to a cute alley-like way that's partially outside, partially inside. Muse Paintbar is on the left. :) 2. I only ordered one appetizer for food, but it was a chips & dip trio-- salsa, guac, and cheese. One bite and I could tell, this stuff was definitely store bought. All of it. Salsa was 100% Tostitos from the jar, cheese was processed nacho cheese sauce, and guac was container guac. Chips were mostly crumbles. That was a bit disappointing, although a fine thing to snack on, but you expect it to be home made in-house at an event like this. On the bright side, I still had a wonderful time, and will return (and order a different food to try out)! The drinks were delicious-- we tried the Red Sangria and the Shirley-Moscato drink, both delicious. Painting was tons of fun. Anxiety inducing at first, for sure-- everyone feels like they're doing everything wrong. But that's the fun part, because at the end you're like, "Wholly crap, I did this!" The environment was super supportive and kind, the teacher was great and I tipped her well. I had lots of fun bringing along a good friend. :) I will advise to wear loose, breathable clothing! I wore a heavy sweater and with the drinking, it got very hot haha. Beautiful art is also available for purchase, which is amazing! Will be coming here again to free my mind and let the creativity flow! :D

The Iwo Jima Memorial is directly opposite the Top of the Town building. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the Potomac River and have views of all the significant buildings in Washington, DC. The inside is spacious - we had 92 guests seated at ten tables, and there was plenty of space for the dance floor, drinks table, and dessert table. We also took advantage of the outside patio because we had great weather, and after sunset, many of us went outside to watch the full moon rise. Catering was provided by Genesis Delight Catering, a company that has experience serving food at TotT and knows the kitchens. The event staff at the TotT are experienced and friendly and will ensure that your event is the best it can be. We enthusiastically recommend this event space. Sheridan Dalier, the event coordinator at TotT, provided generous assistance before our event when we were in the planning stages. She was friendly, experienced, and very helpful. When we learned we could hire Sheridan to help us during our party to take care of the final set-up, last-minute fixes, and any surprises, we gave an enthusiastic "Yes, please." For example, she ensured the audio-visual system had the correct cord to show our slides. She kept track of the gifts we received. She handled questions and requests from our guests. As the evening's event coordinator, Sheridan's help was important, making a great evening even better! We enthusiastically recommend Sheridan Dalier's services as event coordinator.

I interviewed two planners, and I knew I wanted Vicky right away because I was confident that she could get the job done. She didn't want to be my best friend--she wanted to help us achieve the wedding of our dreams while staying under budget. When we were deciding on what services we wanted her to take care of, she showed us this very detailed list of services, kind of like an a la carte menu. We wanted to keep our wedding planner services at $3000 I think, and so we basically picked and chose which things we wanted her to do. SO SIMPLE. No negotiating necessary. After that, she made it feel like our wedding was the only wedding she was working on. Such attention to detail, with a balance of her suggestions and getting our input so that it would still be our wedding. She was honest and straightforward about what she thought were bad ideas, which made us trust in the things that she was excited about and thought were great ideas. Vicky just has so much experience that--really--every little tiny detail was taken care of, so that on the day of our wedding, all we had to do was get our hair and makeup done and show up at the wedding. (My husband and the groomsmen were actually bored the day of our wedding!) The weeks before the wedding, my friends--who know that I get stressed out managing dinner reservations--were amazed to see me so stress-free! Lastly, and maybe I should've opened with this, as soon as we booked all of our vendors, I knew that the cost of having Vicky as our wedding planner paid for itself. The money and time we saved using Vicky's contacts (especially DJ, caterer and florist) was significant. SIGNIFICANT. Please consider Vicky for your event planning services! She is amazing!
