The teacher running the activity had very low energy and didn't seem very engaged with the kids. At most birthday parties I've been to, the instructors are upbeat, encouraging, smiling, and clearly excited to be there. That just wasn't the case here. The kids seemed fine, but as an adult, it was noticeable. What really pushed me to write this review was how the end of the party was handled. The owner/teacher told the birthday child's mom ...in front of guests...that the party time was over and that the kids needed to take their food to go because she had only paid for a set amount of time. You could tell the mom was embarrassed and trying to keep it low-key, but it felt unnecessary and unprofessional to handle it that way during a child's birthday party. If you're looking for a warm, friendly environment with some flexibility and good customer service, this isn't it. I won't be returning.

You are then take to a room to put on the vest-laser gun combination. A few minutes later, the game begins! If you ask them to show you where the bases are, they will show you and you could hit those bases for more points. You cannot tag another teammate, and when you tagged, there's a few second delay before you are back into play. The age range was from elementary school children to working professionals. It was a fun experience trying to strategize how to get the most number of points! Some folks decided to stay high up and shoot downwards. Others sought to aim for the bases since they have quite a bit of points. Another team defended their base. I would definitely come again!

There are no padlocks to open in this room, which is very different from the majority of escape rooms that just lock up clues to puzzles. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this room for escape game fans. They use a high quality camera to take your picture and it's emailed to you later on the day. They currently have one escape room and are building out a second room.

She walked us through the history of perfumery and the categories of scents. We were free to sniff at any and all of the scents as we desired. We were then off to create two perfumes that we wanted. The only limitation was our own imagination! I set my mind on a summer one (Spring day with fresh flowers and clean linen) and winter one (eating my favorite cookies near the Christmas tree). It was such a blast attempting to create these scents and smelling how the different scents would work with each other. Despite the tall order, I was able to concoct the exact perfumes in my mind's eye with Sherry's help. My hubby created a beachy evening one and a mulled wine one that smell amazing, too. This was such a unique, memorable experience and I especially loved the shared experience with my partner.
