My sister had asked me to go to a wine and paint with her. I told her I don't drink wine and not artistic. She said it would be fun so I tried it. I had the time of my life!!!!! They take you through step by step . They also have at least one to four other artists that roam around to help. The food was good and plenty of choices for drinks, alcoholic or not. I have currently done 5 regular classes and 5 of the paint your pets. They also run occasional deals with %off if booked early and discounted coupons. I have another one scheduled and bringing my daughters and daughters in law to do a paint class together.Everyone I have brought with me has also had a great time.The paintings are also great to give for presents! Love this place!! I have been many times with my friends and family.. Family day was the best, my 7 year old was super proud of his painting!! The instructor made it so easy for the kids to follow and made sure to say that no 2 paintings will be the same so that the kids wouldn't feel discouraged!! I really wanted this to be a great experience but I'm sorry to say it wasn't. I've never been to a Muse Paintbar before (or any painting class before) but I've heard that anyone could do this no matter how artistic you may be. I honestly feel that isn't the case. I attended a class yesterday 2/6 for my cousins birthday. The price of the class was $45 which you pay in advance to guarantee your spot. It's located in the ridgehill mall where the parking fee is $3. I don't believe they validate but I could be wrong. The class started at 7:30 & they suggest you arrive 7-7:30. They have a bar with wine, bar, soft drinks & water. They also have a few item to nibble on which I would recommend since the class is about 2.5-3 hours. These items are not included in the $45 cost of the class so I shelled out an additional 16 bucks for 2 'glasses' (plastic cups) of wine. There were about 30 people in the class which I thought was way too many. It was extremely impersonal especially for someone like me who doesn't know how to paint. I'm also left handed & everything was set up for a right handed people so I had to adjust everything. Upon doing so the wet paint brushes dripped into my purse onto my designer wallet. I also left there with paint in my hair after I just left the salon (nobody's fault but my own ugh) So the instructor started teaching us step by step. He did have a microphone but where we were seated I couldn't at all see his Canvas which made it very difficult to follow along. When we had a break he came around to help people, I immediately stated I needed help & it seems I was the only person who was skipped over because he needed to get back to teaching. By the time he came over it was the end of the class, my painting was completely ruined & he pretty much had to paint over it to fix it. I really wanted to do this myself with some instruction but like I said it was the very end of the class. He did apologize but at this point I was very upset (I was literally holding back tears some of which I couldn't stop). My group was all excited about their paintings & started taking photos but why would I want to take a photo with a picture I didn't created. I was so upset that I wasted $45 on an overly crowed impersonal class that I just went home. I couldn't even attend dinner with my cousin to further celebrate. I'm still upset. I would suggest they lower the amount of people they let in each class. Nobody wants to pay this much money to get lost halfway through & not get any direction on how to fix it. This was just my experience & I'm sure other people will have a different opinion. I'm entitled to mine & this is what it is. This class left a bad impression on me & sadly I don't think I will ever attend another painting class here or anywhere else. read more

Muse Paintbar at the Ridgehill location is just awesome! The Instructors, the helpers and Entire Staff are so welcoming, sweet and kind. They are so knowledgeable in their craft. They don't mind to take their time to help you out with your paintings so that when you leave there feeling proud of what you accomplished, you are truly satisfied. Definitely worth every penny. My daughter and I visit Muse to do a painting session at least twice a month. The drinks and food are good, finger foods, small bites to eat but just enough, you wouldn't be able to enjoy a full meal while you're working on your masterpiece anyway so it's perfect. Muse has birthdays parties for both the adults and for kids. We've been there while birthday parties have been going on and you can tell they do an amazing job entertaining the children as well as the adults. The children walk out of there so proud and happy with their paintings. If you have not visited Muse yet you are definitely missing out. It's a great place to spend a night or day out with your loved ones, family and friends. read more

I was here on Friday night, 4/28/17. This was my 3rd time at a Muse Paintbar. I went to one in White Plains, NY and another in Garden City. Although it was great to be with my girls, this particular Muse was an epic fail in my book. They really made the studio too packed for comfort, you couldn't make your way to the smocks or restrooms for that matter without accidentally bumping someone or something, possibly messing them up while painting. We were seated at a 180 degree angle from the instructor (practically to her direct right and nearly behind her completely), and couldn't see anything, she didn't even make an effort to show us. She literally said "pull the photo of the picture we're doing from your confirmation email, and try your best to copy it!" SERIOUSLY? I could have just gone to Michael's, grabbed myself a canvas, and done this at home! I really didn't have a good experience at this MUSE paintbar.
