Just get that cheese board and leave it at that... Let me explain. This place is CUTE. Service was a 10, provided by our waiteur Mariam. We started with drinks and a charcuterie board, that was fantastic and had a lacy, mild cheese I'd never had before. We were still hungry, so we ordered more tapas. This food was mid at best. We ordered the skirt steak which was very tough with a jus that just wasn't quite right. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts which in my opinion were undercooked. We probably should have ordered the wings as Mariam suggested but yeah, out side of the cheese board, the food was a 6. The menu is also confusing because it very much feels like a French restaurant, but the menu was all over the place with tuna tartare and hot wings. I'll come back but I'll keep it to the mocktails and charcuterie (which they have several options of, including beer and wine). read more

Musette does a lot with such a small space. It's well-designed, maximizing limited square footage with an L-shaped bar near the kitchen and tables placed linearly and.close together. Lots of dim lighting and candles throughout, cast over wood tables to create an amber glow and soft ambiance. Since I frequent their wine shop next door, Pompette, I knew the selection wouldnt disappoint. But never before have i seen a Pet-Nat flight as an option. It was a great choice. I had an order of their signature wings, which were no doubt unique. They weren't bad, but a little wet which made them difficult to handle (I used a knife and fork!). And I can't believe I'm saying this, but the garlic was a tad overpowering. All in all, Musette is a very solid fine wine and small bites vibe in Harlem. read more

Our server was polite and welcoming, especially on such a cold night. We sat by the huge window which I think are the most interesting seats. He was attentive and timely and even gave us tasters, really kind of him. Overall, our flight options were nice, yummy reds that were more than deserving for our winter night. The wings- both spicy and honey were delicious. The smell of all things yummy happening in the kitchen and the overall ambiance were nice. Such a cute little place! I've been eyeing this place for a minute and finally was able to go. i took my friend there for her birthday and we both enjoyed it immensely. One piece of advice.....they open at 5:00 and I would suggest getting there by 5:30 because the place is small and it fills up quickly. I did make reservations for 5:30 and needed to change it to 7:00. I called several times with no answer and no voicemail so word to the wise. Other than that this spot is definitely worth checking out. We started with flights - I had the reds, my friend had the bubbly flights. We were starving and their menu doesn't have many options but everything we ordered we enjoyed. We started with a meat and cheese tray, it comes with bread with a mustard and a sweet sauce which we devoured. We followed that with their wings - they have two kinds - one honey and the other i think was cilantro (forgive me if I'm wrong) and they were both good. We then had an avocado, lox flatbread which was delicious. A couple more glasses of wine and the night was complete. This place is an entire vibe - I love it and will definitely be back!! read more

I have come here a couple of times. All the times, I have come it has been a wonderful experience. I have come for the wine and the coffee. When I have gone for the wine; it has been a great time. When I went for the coffee my chai latte was good but I like more chai flavor. The service is great: the waiters are very knowledgeable and friendly. The place is nice and has a rustic feel. This beautiful establishment is a gem tucked on the corner of Malcolm X Boulevard. Upon entering the restaurant I was met with beautiful smells, chatter of those around me, and the smiling face of my date. I loved the decor and though slightly packed, I didn't feel overwhelmed & the space didn't feel crowded. The wine selection was vast and the finger foods were delicious and paired nicely with the wine flavors my date and I tried. The wait staff was polite and respectful I appreciated their help explaining a few things on the new. This place would be great for a girls night or after work for a few drinks. Just moved to New York from California and I must say we have our share of wine bars, but this place is incredible. From the service, energy, and exceptional staff. I do however recommend making a reservation because it gets busy and filled up quickly since it's a small place. We started off with the bubbly flight which I highly recommend, we also had the honey wings which were cooked perfectly and had the right amount of sweetness to them . We also got the Flatbread which had Honeynut Squash, Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions,& Bacon. This was so good and the flavors went so well together. What a vibe! This spot is situated in a very difficult location. Mainly because there isn't really many spots like it in the area. I like the extensive wine selections here and I love that it's near Pompette because that's the cutest wine bar and liquor store ever. Anyways i enjoyed my small charcuterie plates (ofcourse i did feel like it was a bit overpriced for what was ordered) and the waiters really know a lot about the pairings and what to get. That one doesn't close at 7 PM like some of the others in the neighborhood . Service is always A1 here and the owners are super nice. Love the mezze platter and cheese plate too. First time and last time to this restaurant. I believe the other people in my party were fine with it and the server was attentive to my friend (the host) but then again, they didn't experience my service or lack there of. We had a reservation at 5pm when they reopen, I was early but expected when the others arrived at 5pm, we could go in. No, they weren't ready, we waited outside until 5:15pm. My friend's parents were in from India so even though it was balmy for NY last night, her mother was freezing and we couldn't wait inside. Since there were 8 of us, the server/host could only take 4 orders at a time, I was part of the second group. He served the first 4 people with their drinks first, then took our drink order, for my group I ordered first and received my coke in a cup with ice last because...then we ordered food, again, only in groups of 4. I had ordered the Musette Flatbread, the others Tuna Tartare, he came by again to repeat our orders because as he said he doesn't write the orders down even though he had an electronic pad. I again repeated Musette Flatbread. Food courses came out, the Tuna Tartare first, then chicken wings and grilled shrimp and everyone was eating and then 15 mins later I asked how long for my flatbread, the server said it takes time because it is complicated. It came out with Salmon! I did not order salmon, he thought I had, maybe if he wrote it down or put it in the pad, he would have gotten it right. No apology but he did offer to make me the other flatbread but since it took 30 mins to make a flatbread with raw ingredients on top and I was hungry, I declined, and then deconstructed the flatbread because I don't like raw fish on my flatbread. He didn't come by to ask how we were and if we enjoyed the food, just came by to bus the table. There are enough restaurants in the area that this can be bypassed. A definite never again for me. read more
