I admit I didn't know what I was in for when I came here; I just stumbled upon it as I was walking around this area. But due to its proximity to the Estadi Olimpic I hoped that it would be a big, permanent exhibit about the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. But it's nowhere near that specific. It's very general; its main purpose is to be a museum about the history of competitive sports. There is a section about the 1992 Olympics which is pretty interesting, but I didn't find much compelling in the rest of it. At the center of the building is a flashy video presentation which is neat, but kind of odd. It goes back and forth between two videos, one of which shows images on screens all around the room while dramatically counting down the seconds to the other video, which just shows on one screen.
