I went to Music & Arts last Saturday for my fiance to spend some of his tax refund. It's a nice, smaller music store that seems like it mostly caters to middle school and high school students who are looking for their band instruments. They also have a decent guitar selection. The associate was very helpful and friendly. We started talking about our own high school band days of yore and he took the time to look up french horn prices for me out of my own curiosity. The store can order pretty much anything you want and they are honest about price ranges for instruments. They won't try to pressure you into buying an instrument that is more expensive than what you need. I will definitely be back for more musical shopping! read more

Music & Arts on Brodie is wonderful. They are always kind and patient and so helpful. We could not find the keyboard we wanted for our son's 13th birthday, and Luke spent his afternoon helping us get something even better, with a wonderful deal. They provide great customer service here. My son's marimba string broke, Vance the store manager fixed it in a day with no charge! He had to take down all the keys and re-string the whole thing. When I went to get it, he carried and brought it to my car. I was very pleased with the great service they provided and would definitely recommend it to others. read more

I have been taking drums lessons with Dannie for over 6 months now. As a beginner we started with simple beats and right from the beginning she wrote down the beats for me so I can play not just by ear but also by reading. Every class I was learning something new. Every beat I learnt she would write it down and we would come back to it and add little modifications which would create a completely new sound and feel. She is an amazing drummer and a great teacher! read more

So pleased with the customer service here. My middle schooler is leasing a trumpet from here. When his instrument case became dilapidated they replaced it at no charge and even monogrammed his name on the case & zipper pulls. We did purchase the liability and damage insurance, but I really feel they went the extra mile. read more

Music & Arts provides great customer service! I just returned my daughter's clarinet rental with total quickly and simply. Plus, the monthly electronic draft which is due tomorrow, won't be happening. M&A will call our bank today and make sure! AND, if the draft occurs by some error, M&A has assured me of a full refund. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! Ordered a double french horn online and never heard A THING in regards to the status of my order upon receiving an email stating that it would take no more than 3 days for a customer service rep to be in contact with me. THREE WEEKS went by, my bank account charged for the month's rental and I decided to show up at the location (7/19). To my surprise, a horn was waiting for me. However, I had still not been contacted at this point. The nice employee- Jeremy- opened the box for me and we discover that it is a SINGLE horn that only 6th grade beginners use. At this point I am furious, as you can imagine. Jeremy gets his regional manager on the line and assures me that he would expedite the correct horn to me by Friday (7/22)- (Monday (7/25) at the very latest). Ultimately, he clams a laundry list of excuses with the company's new system, customer service issues, etc and never fully apologizes for this mess. It is now Tuesday, and still.... NO HORN. I have called the store back, spoke with Jeremy again, and he is going to refund me the rental payment. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. It is apparent that this store caters toward middle school students mostly- possibly some high school. If you truly cannot accommodate ALL players, the company really should NOT be marketing themselves in such way. I am thankful for always renting from my middle and high school. As a recent college grad, I cannot afford to buy a horn outright and thought this would be a promising option--- BOY WAS I WRONG! read more
