MU other son is learning ukulele from him as well! He's a total rocker who is able to meet the kids at whatever level they are at. I am very thankful for his effort and skillset. He's one of the better music teachers I've seen my kids learned from (you don't want no diva music teacher). He can teach rock as well as even some gospel/carols. I'm musically retarded but his teaching methods seem very technical and engaging and fun. Thanks Mr. Chris! I think he is well worth every penny he charges which isn't very much.

He even agreed to sing lead on several songs the last session he attended. My son has taken guitar lessons for a couple of years but it was like pulling hair to get him to practice, until we put him in RBU. Mike the owner is great with the kids and places them with other students who are at their level. The culmination of the session is a performance which includes all of the bands with their parents and friends attending. Witchcraft! Every lesson was ridiculously fun. One minute we're laughing, the next he's casually fixing things I didn't even know my voice was doing wrong. He explains stuff in a way that actually makes sense, which is rare, and he somehow makes practicing feel less like a chore and more like a main character montage. The improvement was REAL. Better control, more confidence, stronger vocals things I fully did not think were possible for me before working with him. If you want to improve your singing while having a great time and not being emotionally destroyed in the process, James is the guy.
